Chapter 50: Truths about the Story/Leaving Camp

You were just told by Adenus that Vognos would return.

(Y/N): Vognos would return? Are you sure?

Adenus nods.

Applejack: Vognos? As in the villain from the story?

Adenus: Yes. That Vognos.

Hiccup: Why would Vognos return? I mean, he's sealed away in his prison.

Adenus: He is, but he plans to break free.

This got you curious.

(Y/N): What do you mean by that?

Adenus was quiet for a while. Then he spoke.

Adenus: (sighs) There's some part of the story you may not know.

Adenus walks over to the mural. He then touches it and it starts to glow. Then, everyone was transported into a memory of Adenus's children. 

Astrid: Where are we?

Adenus: This is one of my children's memories. This was the day after I died.

You see the children around Adenus's deathbed.

Adenus: After my passing, the trust heart lost its power. You know what the trust heart does, right?

(Y/N): It makes you and your children stronger.

Adenus: Good. Anyway, after the heart lost its power, my children lost their power. So what they decided to do was to seal Vognos away into a prison.

You then see Adenus's children sealing Vognos into a prison.

Fishlegs: Well, that we know.

Adenus: But it wouldn't seal him away for good.

Sunset: What do you mean by that?

Adenus: Every 20 years, Vognos would break out. The children would then seal him again, but because the heart doesn't work anymore, the children have been getting weaker.

Everyone returns to the cave.

Adenus: I came to find you for a reason. I've had other descendants who have tried to fight him. Unfortunately, they have failed. The reason is because they thought they could take him alone, but the truth is, they cannot.

You grew concerned.

Adenus: But seeing you fight today, I believe that you have that chance of fighting him, and ending his life for good. That's why I'm asking you to do more.

(Y/N): What else can I do?

Adenus then points to the painting.

Adenus: You must find the other four children. Find them and get their gemstones. Then bring back the trust heart.

(Y/N): Where do I find them?

Adenus: That I cannot help you with. But when you get closer to finding one, or have a clue as to where they are, I will be there to guide you. But I have faith in you because you have patience, courage, compassion, discipline, and confidence. 

Adenus then points to the (Hu)Mane 7, Sci-Twi, and your friends from Berk.

Adenus: But you also have friends, allies, and lovers. These people here will be there for you no matter what trouble you're in. They will help you in any way.

You then turn to everyone. They all had soft smiles on their faces. You then turn to Adenus.

(Y/N): I will be ready for whatever comes next.

Adenus: That's what I like to hear. I know you will succeed.

Adenus then starts to leave.

Adenus: Until we meet again, young (Y/N).
