Daryl places kisses along my collarbone, trailing down to my breast. I let out a giggle, rolling away from him.

"Cmon, it's time to get up. We can't waste away having sex all morning."

Daryl grumbles, muttering quiet profanities under his breath. We both head over to check on Jesus at Rick's house. Glenn and Abraham catch up to us on the way.

"Christ, you all smell like sex," Glenn says, looking between us and Abraham.

"That's all there is to do in the apocalypse. Fuck and scavenge," I reply.

"Amen," Abraham adds, and we head into the house. We can hear Jesus talking to Carl, instantly putting everyone on guard.

"You too, Rick?" I say quietly when we see a half-naked Rick next to an out-of-breath Michonne.

"Let's all go downstairs," he says, shooting me a look. We head down, sitting around the dining room table, Jesus in the middle.

"I checked out your arsenal," Jesus says. "You're well stocked, but your provisions are low. Extremely low for the number of people you have. Fifty-four."

"We have more than that. Way more than that," Maggie says, crossing her arms.

Jesus looks at me with a knowing look. "Thanks for the cookie. Compliments to the chef."

"Yeah, she ain't here," Daryl answers this time.

"Look, we got off to a bad start. We are all on the same side. The living side. You, Daryl, and Rick had every reason to leave me there." He's addressing me now. "But you didn't."

"Not for lack of trying," I reply, looking over at Rick.

Jesus continues. " I come from a place that is a lot like this one. My job is to find other settlements to trade with. I took your truck because my community needs things...and the three of you looked like trouble. I was wrong. You're good people. This is a good place. I think our communities may be in a position to help each other."

Glenn speaks next, cutting through the tension. "Do you have food?"

"We've started to raise livestock. We scavenge. We grow."

"Why should we believe you?" Rick asks him.

"If we take a car, I can show you. It would take a day to get there. You all can come and see for yourselves."

"More settlements? You mean you're already trading with other groups?" Maggie interjects.

Jesus leans back, smiling smugly. "Your world is about to get a whole lot bigger."

Daryl and I pack the vehicle as Denise approaches us.

"Oatmeal cake. Complex carbohydrates. Omega 3s."
