"To Takemitchy...12 years from now." The screen opened with Mikey speaking to Takemichi.

'This video...' Takemichi watched the screen. '...Is something he put in there specifically for me?!'

"I said all that in my letter..." Mikey started again. "But there's something I want to tell only you." Takemichi was confused as he watched. "There's something like 'another me' inside of me that I can't control. A 'dark impulse'."

"Dark impulse?" Emma asked, confused.

"That would actually make sense." Baji said. "We've seen how he changes into a different person and Mikey has mentioned something similar earlier this viewing."

'An impulse...?! OH...!!' Takemichi thought back to the timeline when Mikey killed Kazutora. 'Right, that's what happened...when he killed Kazutora-kun.' Mikey had no emotion, no light in his eyes. He was a different person.

"The ones who held that impulse back were probably...my older brother..." Mikey in the video continued. "...Emma...and Baji. I'm scared of what I'll be 12 years from now. I'm definitely going to bring misfortune to those around me." Takemichi couldn't take his eyes off Mikey. "So, I'm making a break with everyone in Toman. You get it, right? I don't want to get them wrapped up in this. Takemitchy. Promise me. Stay away from me 12 years from now. Don't even think about going back to the past to try to save me." Mikey smiled slightly at the screen. "I choose this path....Takemitchy. I will never see you again. So, I'll say this last thing to you."

'Last thing...?' Takemichi didn't know what to expect.

"Be happy." Mikey smiled again. He looked okay with what he was doing.

"I know we already knew he chose this life himself, but this still makes me upset." Emma crossed her arms. "I wanted him to be happy with everyone else."

"Mikey, promise you won't do this when we get out of here." Draken looked at Mikey. "We can deal with everything together. Whatever that dark impulse is, we can deal with it together."

"Ken-chin..." Mikey started.

"I don't care." Draken cut him off. "We've already seen so much shit in here, so much suffering. I don't want anyone, even you, to be along again."

"Draken's right." Mitsuya said. "We've seen how we all suffer when we're alone. We shouldn't be alone anymore. We'll deal with everything, dark or light, together." Mikey smiled at his friends, hope and love slipping into his heart

'Quit it...don't make that face.' Takemichi didn't feel good as the video ended. 'Mikey-kun didn't turn evil because of someone else. It's because of his own 'dark impulse'.' Takemichi left the video store and started on his way home. 'There's nothing I can do about it.'
