(Tell me how I thought I posted this last week. Imagine my surprise when I hop on to write the next chapter and I see this one...unposted.

Update on the order of reaction stories: MHA will be the first one posted, MDZ will be next and Arcane will be after. I was going to do MDZ first and then MHA but In between the Y/N videos on TikTok, there were sad Dabi edits all over and I want him to have a happy ending as soon as possible so I'm gonna use my reaction and fix-it fics to do just that.

Dabi is my baby, and he deserves the whole world. He had every right to become a Villian)

The screen opened with Takemichi and Naoto shaking hands. Takemichi prepared to time leap...only for him to stay where he was.

"Huh?" Takemichi was confused. "We shook hands, but I didn't time leap?!! Why...?!!"

"He didn't go back?" Emma was shocked.

"Why? What's wrong?" Hina asked.

Naoto was also confused as he stared at their connected hands. "...I see..." He seemed to understand something.

"Huh...?! What're you talking about, Naoto?" Takemichi wanted answers.

"Takemichi-kun." Naoto looked up at Takemichi. "I no longer think that I want to change the future. In other words...my role as the trigger is over."

"Huh?" Takemichi was confused and shocked.

"This is just a theory, but..." Naoto looked down, placing his thumb on his chin. "Without strongly believing that I want to change the past...I probably can't function as the trigger."

"...No way..." That was no what Takemichi wanted to hear.

"...That makes sense." Chifuyu muttered.

"So...he can't save Mikey?" Angry asked, feeling really sad now.

"Naoto got what he wanted." Draken said. "Hina is saved, that's all Naoto wanted. Takemitchy is the one who got attached to all of us and made up his mind to save us all."

"I don't like this." Emma sighed. "At all."

"I can't blame Naoto." Mikey said. Everyone looked at him. "I have been responsible for Hina's death in almost every timeline. He's only seen me as a monster and nothing Takemitchy says will change that. He finally got the future where she's alive, he doesn't want to mess it up."

"You're not a monster." Emma tried. "And Kisaki is responsible for Hina's death."

"I allowed it to happen." Mikey said. "If I hadn't allowed Kisaki to run wild and gain the power he had, he wouldn't have been able to kill Hina."

"He would have found a way." Hanma said.

"And I wouldn't have been connected to it." Mikey said. "I wouldn't have helped him. I wouldn't have given him all he needed to do it." He hated how much everyone suffered because of him, they all blame Kisaki but Mikey knows it was all on him, everything was because of him.
