The screen opened with a flashback and a voice over.

'Minami Terano grew up in the Favelas, or slums, in Rio, Bazil.' The screen showed a women lying in bed, sick. A young boy playing a piano. 'He lived with his sickly mother...and his only entertainment was an out of tune piano.' The screen then changed to show an older man with a tattoo on his neck. 'A man called 'Dino' who looked after his mother...taught Minami how to live in the slums since he was born in a foreign country.'

"It's about that time..." Dino said as he cupped the back of young Minami's head.

"Is this about South?" Akkun asked.

"Looks like it." Hina said.

'He committed his first act of violence at five years old.' The screen then changed to show Minami shooting a guy. 'He killed Dino's enemy.'

"Nice work, Minami." Dino praised Minami, who stood in front of him with blood on his face. "Starting today, you'll go by the name 'South'."

'Dino was the city's king...the gang master.' The screen changed to show some homes. 'With the money he earned on that day, he bought his first pair of shoes and learned the merits of violence.'

The scene changed to show an older South, beating Dino.

'The year Minami Terano was twelve years old...'

"STOP IT, SOUTH!!!!" South didn't stop as he beat Dino.

'He beat Dino to death...' The screen showed that South was crying. '...While in tears.' The screen changed again to show South walking down a set of stairs, cigarette on his lips and a gun tucked in his pants. Two men walked behind him and one in front of him. 'The 'Tyrant' Minami Terano was consummated at age twelve.' A key card popped up. 'Gang 'Dino South'. Boss Minami Terano aka South.'

"There's no way that fucker is twelve years old." Emma glared at the screen.

"He killed the person who basically raised him?" Hina was confused.

"Cried while he did it too." Yuzuha shook her head. "Kinda reminds me of someone." Taiju had to stop himself from defending himself.

"He even gave South his nickname." Akkun watched the screen. "Why did he do it? For power?"

"Possibly." Izana said. "Different gangs all have different rules when it comes to gaining respect and power from others." He looked at the youngsters. "In some places, it's not rules but simply a way of life, a way to survive."

"So, South killed his father figure because it was a way of life?" Akkun asked.

"Don't know." Izana shrugged. "Seeing a glance of South's life isn't enough to tell us what life was like for him. All we know is that his mom was sick, he was taken care of by that Dino guy, Dino was involved in gang life, and he ended up dragging South into it with him, South then killed Dino."
