I watch from the hotel suite balcony as Kyler sets down his guitar case and takes in the view of the quiet, cobbled Copenhagen streets. The soft glow of streetlamps reflects in the windows of surrounding cafes. He looks peaceful, but I can tell he's carrying the weight of something unsaid.
STASS: "Hey." I say softly, stepping behind him and wrapping my arms around his waist. "You okay?"
KYLER: He leans back into me, resting his hands on mine. "Yeah...I'm good. Just... I haven't seen them since the last U.S. concert. My birthday always hits differently when I'm away, which I hardly ever am."
STASS: I nod against his shoulder. "I know. But hey, we'll make it special. Tomorrow's your night."
KYLER: He smiles at that, turning to kiss me gently. "You're always the best part of every location you can come to. I really do appreciate it."
I hold the secret tight in my chest and kiss him back, my heart already racing. He has no idea what's coming.

Kyler is on fire tonight. There's something extra raw and electric in the way he sings "Deserve This," like he's pouring every last emotion into the mic. The sold-out Danish crowd sings every word back to him, waving glow sticks and handmade signs that say things like "We ♥️ Kyler," "Happy Early Bday, Twin Superstar," and so much more.
They even did a special little fan event where they passed around fake flowers and waved it along to every song until they threw it on stage at the end of the setlist, right before the encore.
I'm watching from the wings, hands trembling with nerves—but in the best way. The stage crew gives me the signal.
We're ready...
The band finishes "I Believe," and Kyler steps forward, flushed and flowing, ready to give his closing thank-you speech.
