Chapter 30: The End

-Two Weeks Later-

Blake and Shardae were gathering the last of his belongings, his doctor came in earlier and said he was good to go home. He was doing much better he just had some minor pains here and there. When they were finally done they say down in one of the chairs while they wait on their driver. Blake rested his hands on Shardae's thighs and looked up at her smirking "What? Stop being creepy." She said pushing his face. He chuckled "I'm not creepy baby. I just like staring at you." He said shrugging his shoulders she looked down at him and playfully rolled her eyes "Soooo what do you wanna do when we get home?" He asked seductively she rolled her eyes at him. The doctor told them that he cannot have sex until two more weeks plus he still had to finish his physical therapy. She actually planned on having the driver drop them off at his house and staying with him for a few hours then leaving she didn't want to tempt him. Well mainly because she knew he would definitely try to tease her into giving in and she just might.

"Nothing baby you know we can't." She said he pouted and turned away. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled his face back towards her "Aw baby come on. You can wait two more weeks right? I promise it'll be worth the wait." She said smiling as he looked up at her "Promise?" He asked smirking "Promise." She said he grabbed her by her neck and kissed her. The two began making out they were so distracted that they didn't hear someone knocking. After the third knock she just walked in and clear her throat Shardae pulled away and looked at her Blake did as well "Alright so what is it? Is there a reason as to why this damn hospital keeps calling me." Evelyn snapped Shardae glared at her and began responding to some emails and text messages, opting not to say anything out of respect. "Mom I've been in her for two weeks I was shot." Blake said Evelyn scoffed "Ok and clearly you're fine." She said rolling her eyes Blake huffed and tapped Shardae's thigh twice she nodded and got up and sat in the chair beside him.

"You are a piece of work you know that? They called you two weeks ago I needed a blood transfusion and the doctors said it'll be better to get blood from a relative. They called you three times that day and when you didn't answer they let someone else donate. So you can leave know." He said before slowly standing up his mother looked at her son trying to figure out who he was talking to "That's good who did you get the blood from?" She asked he pointed at Shardae, Evelyn scoffed she didn't understand why he chose to be with someone with that kind of lifestyle. How come he didn't wanna be with a nurse or something or with one of the women she picked out for him. She looked at Shardae "Um excuse me Shardee is it? I guess I should than-" Evelyn said before she got cut off "It's Shardae you knew that. And don't even bother you are welcome. I offered to donate my blood as soon as I was informed that he needed some but Blake talked me into waiting for you. Now I don't know why or how but your son still has faith in you." Shardae calmly said.

Evelyn looked back at Blake "I can't believe you right now after all of the amazing women I've hooked you up with you decide to date a Lucious Lyons's daughter. Do you know what kind of lifestyle these people have? I've listened to their songs it's nothing but violence." She said Shardae huffed and got up "What kind of lifestyle?" She asked "The drop out, baby mama drama, drive by's, prison and drug deals kind of lifestyle." Evelyn said folding her arms Shardae chuckled "Let me guess you're saying all this bullshit because my dad's a rapper right?" Shardae asked Evelyn nodded "Well then your son should have the same lifestyle to right? Since he's a rapper." She said Evelyn shook her head "No he's not like the other rappers he's different." She said "Exactly and so is my father he's actually quite the gentleman." She said before going back to sit down Blake looked at his mother "Look mom whether you like it or not Shardae is my girlfriend and I'm in love with her. And her so called "violent family" of hers has been there for me more than you have. Now I'm going to ask you one more time to leave or I'm calling security." He said before going back to sit down, she stood there for a couple seconds before she finally stormed out.
