Chapter 21: Showcase Part 1

Cookie POV

As we all got off the elevator and headed towards the studios I just hoped that the situation isn't too bad but at the same time I know how bad Shardae's temper can be. And if it's about Blake then it might be a little worse, once we headed towards the main studio we heard Shardae yelling Melodie gasped "Damn she sounds pissed." She said I nodded in agreement "Baby can you tell Jamal to meet us down here we might need him to help if they fight." I said Lucious sighed "Ok imma text him." He said texting him as we continued walking down the long hallway towards studio we still heard Shardae and we weren't no where near studio 1 we were just now walking past studio 10 and we heard her like she directly in front of us so with that being said we picked up the pace. After a little bit of time we ran into Jamal just as we made it to the studio he looked at us "Hey y'all whats going on?" Jamal asked we shrugged our shoulders "I don't know she just texted me telling me to ask mom and dad to meet her down here she said Yana was doing to much." Melodie said as he listened while she filled him in. We finally entered the studio and closed the door we sat down outside the booth and looked at Shardae who was inside the studio pacing back and forth while Blake sat on the couch trying to get her to calm down I'm guessing he tried to comfort her and she told him not to touch her.

She didn't even notice that we were there Blake sighed "Baby can you please calm down? You're scaring me." He said she stopped pacing to look at him "No obviously I'm fucking pissed off!" She shouted Blake huffed and got up and when he saw us he sighed in relief. I figured it was time for me and Lucious to step in so we got up and went into the booth she was still pacing Blake walked up to us "Thank y'all for coming down here I cant get her to calm down." He whispered Lucious put his head on Blake's shoulder "No problem Blake you did what you could. Could you wait out there with Melodie and Jamal for me?" He asked Blake nodded and left. I walked up to her "Shardae baby what happened?" I asked her she stopped pacing and looked up at me "You remember that day you caught Damon staring at you?" She said I nodded "Alright so after I left the studio and met up with y'all Blake stayed to work on his album. Yana went into the studio and tried to have sex with him talking bout "You need a real woman she can't satisfy you" just saying all types of bullshit. And once said he said no she literally climbed on top of him and basically trying to rape him he had to push her off. After he did that she got up and kissed him and then gave him her number and her panties then left." She admitted we all gasped "WHAT THE FUCK!?!" Melodie and Jamal said "Oh hell nah we're dropping her." I said Lucious nodded and then huffed "Baby we cant drop her just yet the board wants to see her perform at the showcase. If we try to drop they wont agree with it and then we wont be able to drop her." He said I rolled my eyes I remember when we tried to drop Tiana and they didn't allow us to. Shardae groaned and sat down on the couch in sat down next to her "So whats gonna happen now? She can could try to rape Blake and just get away wit it?" Shardae asked Lucious sighed and sat down with us "Baby we're re not saying she gonna get away it, we're just that it has to be after the showcase." He said I nodded "He's right if we try to drop her the board is going to get mad and motion for somebody else to be head of A&R." I admitted she looked at me and sighed I'm guessing she realized we were right she huffed and laid her head in my lap "I just wanna beat her ass real quick." She admitted we laughed while Melodie, Jamal, and Blake came in to join us "Girl you so dumb." Melodie said sitting in front of us on a stool while Jamal took a seat next to her Shardae laughed "Whatever, so what y'all been doing?" She asked "Shit nothing for real I was chilling with Kai when I heard about what was going on." Jamal said Melodie looked at him I knew that look she was about to say something about what happened earlier.
