PENELOPE

I let out a long, tired sigh as I collapsed onto the bed, feeling the weight of the day suddenly hit me like a tidal wave. The excitement and adrenaline that had fueled me all day were gone, replaced by an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. I kicked off my heels, letting them drop to the floor, and stretched out on the bed, my legs dangling over the edge. I hadn't realized just how drained I was until the moment I got home.

As I lay there, staring blankly at the ceiling, my eyes drifted toward the clock on the wall. My heart nearly stopped when I saw the time-it was already past 5 PM. Panic surged through me. I had less than three hours to get ready for Sophie's bachelorette party and also make sure she was ready, too. And since it was meant to be a surprise, I needed to act fast.

With a groan, I pushed myself off the bed and hurried into the bathroom. There was no time for a full shower, so I quickly washed my face, freshened up, and dove straight into my skincare routine. My makeup supplies were already spread out on the vanity, and I wasted no time sitting down in front of the mirror. The dress I'd picked-a shimmering red, strapless mini dress with a sweetheart neckline-was laid out perfectly on the bed, waiting for me.

Since the dress was bold, I decided to go for dramatic makeup to match. Smoky eyes, deep and sultry, gave my look the perfect edge, and I finished it off with a swipe of rich, bold red lipstick. When I was finally satisfied with my reflection, I stood up and slipped into the dress. It hugged my body like it was made just for me, every curve perfectly accentuated. I tied my hair into a half-up, half-down style, adding delicate hair accessories for a touch of glamour. With a pair of strappy red sandals and simple earrings, I was ready-no necklace tonight, I wanted to keep the focus on my bare collarbone. After all, less is more.

Grabbing my red Dior clutch, I tossed in my phone and lipstick before picking up the other three bags packed with essentials for Sophie's transformation. I took one last glance in the mirror-definitely sexy, confident, and ready to turn heads-before stepping out of the room.

As I exited, I spotted Madeline and Serena ascending the staircase. They both looked radiant, their outfits glowing with confidence and elegance. We had decided on a matching red theme for the night, allowing Sophie to stand out in a different color.

"Oh my God, you look stunning!" Madeline gushed, her face lighting up as she took in my look. I couldn't help but giggle. She looked effortlessly elegant herself in a simple sleeveless bodycon dress that hugged her slender frame and reached down to her ankles. The simplicity of the outfit only enhanced her natural grace-Madeline had a way of looking regal no matter what she wore, like royalty ran in her veins.

"And how do I look?" Serena asked, twirling playfully in front of me, showing off her mini red suit dress, complete with gold buttons for a touch of contrast.
