(Hey my lovely readers,
Sorry for the late update I was little busy with my personal issues.

Anyways I hope today's update might give you some clarity of the situation in the book. Soon our villain is also going to have a grand entrance. Just a hint that villain didn't destroy just two live but four and exactly the reason for all the chaos.

PENELOPE

I woke up to the soft warmth of morning sunrays dancing on my face, and for the first time in what felt like forever, I felt... at peace. The past few days had been nothing short of chaos-forced vows, emotional whirlwinds, and a house that still echoed with old memories-but today felt lighter. Not perfect, but better. And right now, better was more than enough.

Slipping out of bed with a small smile, I made my way to the shower. The water was hot, soothing, and washed away the last traces of yesterday's tension. I wrapped myself in a towel and stepped into the walk-in closet, determined to match my outfit to my newfound mood.

After rifling through hangers and shelves, my fingers paused on a vibrant yellow tweed co-ord-a fitted top and a high-waisted skirt that screamed confidence and sunshine. I paired it with strappy yellow heels and my matching Chanel bag. I let my hair fall in soft waves and opted for just diamond studs to keep things simple but elegant.

I gave myself a final once-over in the mirror, a quiet nod of approval passing my reflection, before heading downstairs

I gave myself a final once-over in the mirror, a quiet nod of approval passing my reflection, before heading downstairs. But the moment I entered the living room, I stopped dead in my tracks.

A line of maids and staff stood waiting, as if summoned for an official inspection. The sight was unexpected, overwhelming even. They all looked so serious, so... formal.

Ms. Paul stepped forward with a warm smile. "Good morning, Mrs. Anderson."

I winced slightly. "Please, Ms. Paul, just call me Penelope. Or Penny. 'Mrs. Anderson' sounds too... stiff."

She smiled politely-sweet, but I could already tell she wasn't going to budge.

"Let me give you a proper introduction," she said. "Everyone, this is Mrs. Anderson-the lady of the house."

As if on cue, they all bowed slightly. My cheeks heated at the gesture. It felt strange to be addressed with such reverence in a house I once dreamed of as a home built on love. Now, it was my title holding the weight-not my heart.

"This is Noelle, your personal maid," Ms. Paul continued, gesturing to a young woman with black hair and striking green eyes that lit up as she smiled at me. She couldn't be much older than me, if at all.

"Good morning, Mrs. Anderson," she said cheerfully. "I'll be assisting you with anything you need, madam."

Her tone was sweet, her posture respectful, but her words made me chuckle. "Let's drop the 'madam' for today, shall we? Honestly, what I need more than a maid right now is a friend. So... what do you say? Will you be my friend?"
