Chapter 10

**3rd POV**

As Nepeta fell to the ground, Kankri and Eridan rushed to help her limp body before she hurt herself. Their arms wrapped around her just in time before even her small hands could graze the glitter covered ground. Damara clashed behind Kankri, making them stumble and fall onto the ground, dropping Nepeta with them.

"ごめんなさい" she said, which was slightly startling to hear coming from her mouth. But they all got up and black haired boy scooped up the blonde girl's body into his arms. Then he turned to Damara.

"Please, Eridan, Damara, alert the rest of our companions about what has happened to Ms. Leijon. We do not want to worry them if we disappear so suddenly." Kankri turned around to leave the gym before he stopped and continued, "And do not try to bring any attention to ourselves to any of her ex-schoolmates while you tell them. I do not think that Nepeta would like to have any more issues in her life. Now, if you need us, we'll be in an open classroom."

As he left with an unconscious Nepeta in his arms, Damara glared over at a sheepish looking Eridan, who tried to fix his messy attire as best as he could. "You, big trouble!" she growled. "Drunk girl, not drunk you, kissy kissy still!" She reached up and hit him upside the head. "Bad boy!"

"Ow!" he flinched away from the angry Japanese girl. "Damara, I didn't mean to have it--" He was hit again and was left by himself as the short girl ran to Vriska and Roxy on the other side of the room.

He sighed and went to alert the rest of their friends.

****************************************

In an empty classroom, Kankri laid the drunk girl on a large table in the middle of the room. Her dress was falling off her small body, her headdress no where to be found, and her short hair was messier then usual. Her face was scrunched up and she murmured incoherent words in a drunken slumber. Kankri sighed as he watched her breathing form carefully.

He knew the girl long enough to know that she wouldn't do something this grand unless she was terribly hurt. He had a feeling he knew what had caused her to act so foolish. If it wasn't so triggering for him, he would punish whoever did it. But he might put in a lengthy lecture about it to him instead. Surely, they'd get the point of what they had done.

The door burst open only a few seconds later, Damara and the others shuffling into the room with confused and worried faces. A few were curious as to how all this happened, though they could guess from knowing a little of Nepeta's story before they met, but most were wondering what happened afterwards. And why Eridan was blushing like crazy when he saw her unconscious body on the table.

"Good, I'm glad you all made it here safely and I presume that you kept it quiet with her other companions?" he said. They hesitated, but nodded anyways, and the others crowded around Nepeta.

Vriska had snorted in laughter once it made it into her head that her friend, possibly the most innocent out of all of them, had gotten drunk. Most expected that out of Roxy, who was occasionally drunk at school until she ran to the bathroom to let it out of her system, but never would they think that Nepeta Leijon would get this drunk and destructive at a school function.

Sollux and Roxy started to laugh with her, while Dirk kept his face lack of emotion, like a true Strider. Eridan was still slightly blushing while Damara was snickering behind her hand as Kankri sent everyone disappointed looks. As for Gamzee, he had pulled up a chair to the desk and started to run his fingers through Nepeta's hair, slowly zoning out with each stroke.
