Maya's POV
After a fun day with Josh, he walked me to my room.

Maya: Well, um, thanks for the fun day. I had a great time.
Josh: Yeah. Me too.
Maya: Well, bye.
Josh: Bye. (walks away)
Maya: (turns to the door) Okay, Riley. You can stop eavesdropping.
Riley: (opens the door with a big smile) I bet he wanted to kiss you!
Maya: No, he didn't. Window. Now. (walks with Riley to the window)
Riley: What is it?
Maya: Well...obviously I still like Josh, but-
Riley: But what?
Maya: I just think he's getting tired of me. You know, him waiting on me and all that stuff.
Riley: That is not true. He loves you, Maya. He would never get tired of you.
Maya: ...Thank you. (rests her head on Riley's shoulder)

A few weeks had past. I had taken extra classes to make up for my absences, so I had a LOT of homework. Because of that, I didn't really have time to hang out with anyone, even Josh and Riley. In fact, besides me sharing a room with Riley, I've barely seen them those past few weeks. I wonder where they've been.

Riley's POV
Flashback
I was walking to my next class when Josh came up to me.

Riley: Uncle Josh, what are you doing here?
Josh: I want to do something for Maya.
Riley: (gangster voice) Ah, and what's in it for me?
Josh: (confused look)
Riley: What? I just wanted to try it out...but I'll help you.
Josh: Okay...

I opened the door to my room, and Maya immediately looked at me, surprised.

Maya: Riley? Where have you been these past few weeks? We've barely seen each other. You know, besides the fact that we're roomates! What's going on?
Riley: (breathing nervously) What are you talking about? I've been...just here. (breathes) Maybe it's you who's been lost! (opens the door and leaves)
Maya: That was weird. She is definitely hiding something, and I'm going to find out what it is.
Riley: (opens the door) So do you want to go to dinner or something?
Maya: (evil smile) Sure...

Maya's POV
We decided to go to the mall. At least there we could choose anything we wanted to eat AND do some shopping.

Maya: I'm going to go buy some nachos from Taco Bell.
Riley: Yeah, that's fine. I'm just going to eat my sushi.
Maya: ...Okay. I'll be back. Just uh...wait there. (leaves)

I was very suspicious that evening. I didn't know why, but I was. I kept glancing at Riley while I was waiting for my nachos. After a few minutes, I saw a guy come and hug Riley. What the? After I got my nachos, I immediately ran toward them. I finally reached them, and I turned the guy around.
