Josh's POV
Maya was so beautiful. The way her perfect blue eyes had that little glimmer made me forget the world. I love her.

Maya: Josh? Josh?
Josh: (disoriented) What? What happened?
Maya: Nothing. You just looked like you were staring off into space.
Josh: Oh. No, I'm cool.
Maya: So...what are we going to do?
Josh: I was thinking that maybe we could take a walk by the beach, then eat a fancy dinner, and end it with a movie of your choice.
Maya: ...Yeah, I'd like that. (smiles)
Josh: Great. Let's go to the beach.
Maya: Um, okay.

I hope this works out perfectly. Don't be too forward, Josh. Just be calm, and everything will be perfect...I hope.

Maya's POV
Josh was really so sweet to have planned all of this. I was just thinking of how sweet he was when he interrupted me.

Josh: Well, we're here.
Maya: (disoriented) What? What?
Josh: I just said that we're here...at the beach.
Maya: Oh. (smiles) Okay.

It was that time of the evening when the sun is not down yet, but the sky starts to change color. It was really pretty.

Josh: You wanna know something? When I was little, my friends and I would always play games on the beach. There was this one game where someone would be king or queen, and when I was king, I would be all like, "I am the king! You all are my minions!" and I would put my arms up like this. (raises his arms high up in front of him)
Maya: (pulls Josh's hand down and locks her fingers with his)

Okay. I gotta admit. That was a nice move. I don't know if you still remember, but on our first date we were like two centimeters away from our lips touching, but then Riley interrupted. Well, that same thing happened again...except for the Riley part.

Maya: Oh my gosh!

I don't know how because we weren't even that close to the water, but a big wave managed to get me soaking wet. WHY? Josh didn't get wet, but I guess it was because I was the one closer to the water.

Josh: Wow. (takes of his jacket and puts it around Maya) You should go home first and get changed.
Maya: Does that mean our date's over?
Josh: Do you want it to be over?
Maya: ...No.
Josh: Oh. Well then, I guess you should just put on some different clothes first at your dorm.
Maya: Yeah.

We went back to my dorm so that I can get changed. The whole time I was shivering from all the cold water that was dripping down my back.

Maya: (opens the door) Josh, I might take like ten minutes because of...everything that got ruined.
Josh: That's fine. I'll just sit outside your room until you're ready.
Maya: ...Thanks. (walks inside the room and closes the door) Riley!
Riley: Yeah? (walks outside the bathroom) What happened to you?
Maya: Long story. Not the time. Help me! I'm soaking wet. I need you to plan my whole outfit while I'm in the shower. I have to be out in ten minutes because Josh is outside.
Riley: Okay. Go!
Maya: Right.

I took the fastest shower I have ever taken. I put on my bathrobe and went outside to find Riley putting all the makeup I was going to wear on the dresser. On my bed, I saw a white crop top and a black skirt. On the floor next to my bed, I saw some black heels. When I put on the outfit, my belly button was showing. I went over to my dresser and put on my makeup. Then Riley helped me put my hair into a high ponytail.

Riley: Wow, Maya. You look amazing.
Maya: Thank you, Riley...for everything.
Riley: Your welcome. Now go! You have a date to continue!
Maya: Oh yeah, right. (opens the door and walks out)
Josh: Maya, you look beautiful.
Maya: Um, thank you.
Josh: Let's go?
Maya: Yeah.
