Maya's POV
I really hope everything works out this time. Seriously. I am praying.

Maya: So where to next?
Josh: We are going to watch a movie of your choice.
Maya: Cool. Just like...last time.
Josh: Yeah.

We arrived at the movie theatre. Seriously. I really hope this goes well. I am tired of changing between events.

Josh: So what movie do you want to see, Maya?
Maya: I want to see...Ted 2.
Josh: Okay, then. (walks up) Two tickets for Ted 2, please. (gets the tickets) Thank you.

We walked into the movie theatre. It was so full! Wow. This is just great. Finally, Josh found two seats somewhere in the middle. Josh was next to a middle-aged woman, and I was next to this big and hairy guy. Throughout the movie, the kid behind me kept kicking my chair, AND the guy next to me kept spilling his popcorn and soda every time he laughed. Where did it go to? It went all over me. Ugh. I was waiting until the movie ended so that I could go already. Don't get me wrong, though. I wanted it to end even before I got popcorn and soda all over me. After the movie ended, Josh and I walked outside the building next to a bench where we sat down.

Josh: I'm sorry, Maya. This date definitely didn't go out as planned.
Maya: Josh, you don't have to apologize for anything. I mean, sure, every hour of this date I was soaked, but none of that really matters to me.
Josh: So you didn't like the date?
Maya: No, no, I did. (chuckles) What I'm saying is...even though some things came in the way, I know what's really important.
Josh: What do you mean?
Maya: Before Lucas died, Farkle, Riley, and I visited him in the hospital. We had a talk, and he made me realize that you only get so many chances at love...before it gets wasted.
Josh: What are you saying?
Maya: Lucas made me realize that loving you isn't wasteful. Josh, (holds Josh's hands and swings them lightly) I'm in love with you, and for now, I promise to never let you go.
Josh: I'm in love with you too, Maya Hart. Forever and always.

Josh leaned in. The feeling of his warm lips on my own was a feeling that I never wanted to let go...until I had to breathe, but you get the idea. It started to rain. What the? So cliche. We didn't stop, though. I love Joshua Matthews, and he loves me. Nothing will ever change that. This past year has been crazy, but I wouldn't have had it any other way.
