Maya's POV
Josh: Maya, just listen, okay?
Maya: Whatever.
Flashback
Josh: I was invited to the same party, and Andrew told me you would be there too. I was going to go only because I wanted to see you. I was looking around trying to find the most beautiful blonde girl in the world. Then something happened.
Josh: (walks around)
Jenna: (sneaks up behind him) Well, hello there.
Josh: Jenna? What are you doing here?
Jenna: To do what I've needed to do for a long time.
Josh: She went on her tiptoes and kissed me. I tried to get off, but she wouldn't budge. She's stronger than she looks. You came right at that moment. I was happy to see you, but then again I wasn't because of Jenna. When my eyes met yours, you ran away. I still love you, Maya. I always have.
End of Flashback
Maya: Josh. I want to believe you. I do.
Josh: (says softly) Save those words for another event.
Maya: Josh. I want to believe you, but I don't know if my heart can take all of that. I'm sorry.
