Maya's POV
It was Saturday. Riley and I were invited to a party.

Riley: Come on! It'll be fun!
Maya: Riles, now is not the time.
Riley: You need to get your mind off Josh! Please!
Maya: Fine. We won't stay that long though.
Riley: YAY!

We arrived at the party. There were about fifty people there. Not too crowded. Riley and I found a seat.

Maya: We're not going to stay here forever.
Riley: Since when were you the more responsible one?
Charlie: (walks up to Riley) Hi. My name is Charlie. Would you like to dance with me?

I just figured out that it was a slow song.

Riley: Maya?
Maya: Sure.
Riley: I would love to. (goes and dances with Charlie)

I was alone. No one asked me to dance, but that was okay. I wasn't in the mood. After an hour, I wanted to go back to our room. I tried to find Riley, but I couldn't find her anywhere. I walked around a little bit, but I found no progress. Then I found something. I saw Josh and...Jenna. They were kissing. That literally just killed me. I couldn't cope with the pain. I know I broke up with him, but that was because I love him. He said he loved me, and he just moved on that quickly. I thought he hated Jenna. I wanted to go back to my room now. I saw Josh look at me, but as soon as his eyes caught mine, I ran away.

Maya: Riley! Riley, where are you?
Riley: I'm here!
Maya: (grabs Riley's arm) We're going home.
Riley: What? Why?
Maya: Don't ask. Just come with me. Now.
Riley: Bye Charlie!
Charlie: Bye!

We went back to our dorm. I threw myself to my bed and hid under the covers.

Riley: Maya, what happened?
Maya: (crying) I saw Josh. He was with Jenna. They were kissing. I loved him, Riley. I loved him so much.
Riley: (hugs Maya) Do you want me to talk to him? I mean he's still my uncle.
Maya: Don't bother. I'm not worth it.
Riley: Yes you are, Maya.
Maya: Just don't do it. Please.
