It was when I was in first grade that I first heard about Pokémon, and it was through the TCG. During the start of DPP Generation, but I heard about RSE before is this time, but I didn't know what "Pokémon" really was then. What actually got me into TCG was a Shinx (Fake) Holo card from Burger King. With that, a friend of mine gave me 6 card, and I started collecting. I still have all my cards, they are packed away, but I still continue to collect today and play PTCGO. But that was first grade with a part of Pokémon. Next, I got Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Alima with Christmas money in 2008. At this time period, I claimed I hated Pokémon whenever I watched the anime. I thought the whole thing was stupid. But I played with figurines when going to an old friend's house, and I watched her play Diamond/PMD:EoT a lot. But I didn't know what "Pokémon Ranger" was, I just saw "Pokémon" and bought it. This was a huge step into Pokémania. My first three favorite Pokémon ever were Squirtle, Piplup, and Pachirisu, and they still are favorites. I shipped Dawn's Piplup and Pachirisu. I drew Piplup and Pachirisu a lot. I fused Pachirisu with all the Eeveelutions. I did a lot of the things I do today back then. PR:SoA was literally my Pokémon life, and it continued through PR:GS. But in 2011, that's when I got White and went through the the noob stage of a Pokémon player. And yes, I have Pokémon on my Y that are from my very first playthrough. After White, things fell into place. Continued to get the trainer games, dives into a lot more side games of Pokémon, starting to collect some cards again... all still going on. Pokémon is my main fandom, and I'm glad it is. I'm devoted to this franchised that has helped me a lot.
