Kinda Wanna Ramble About How Weird My TC Fan Art Is (KMS)

Okay, so each thing is based off one of the eleven songs. The coloring is based off the design of the page in the lyric book.

And I will say this before I dive it; all songs BUT Transmission and Bumble Bee are about Love in one aspect or another.

1. Addicted To A Memory // Purple
Based on the lyrics, I took this song to be based on meeting your true love for the first time, and continuously seeing and/or interacting with them; a crush soon developing. The personification is many based off the line "We are, we are a violent chemistry". This is why the end is bubbles, as well as there being a trail and some popped. To me, the rainbow in the art must signify how the love interest makes you feel; happy and wanting them, kinda like how we/some of us are about rainbows.

2. I Want You To Know // Darkest Blue
For me, the design of this personification was HEAVILY based off the music video, where Zedd was continuously in Selena's thoughts, and she was basically going insane off the thoughts. With that, it seemed almost like a break-up, but still wanting the other. This thought could also correlate to the part of the chorus "I want you to know that it's our time", and how the saying "it's our time" is repeated a lot. It seems like that one is addicted to the other, and cannot forget them as they feel safe and still love them.

3. Beautiful Now // Pink
I have yet to watch "Beautiful Now"'s music video, but bass off the song, I took it as love in the present time. This thought mainly comes from the lines "Stranded together, our worlds have collided / This won't be forever, so why try to fight it?" this whole song just feels bubbly and love-y to me, so hey, that's what I made it. And... the couple wasn't suppose to be isolated as male and female, it can be any couple.

4. Transmission // Black
For this song, if you study the lyrics, it's mainly about questioning why you were made and how you're a fuck up. It's pretty depressing, but with the sound of it, you don't think it whatsoever. The design is... well, about death. The personification feels alone and is ready to die. If you look at the lyrics, and then my design, you understand a bit more why I made it as it was...

5. Done With Love // Teal
Based off the title, this is what you think it sounds like. The singer is actually talking about how they hate that the love interest no longer believes in love, and that they're trying to convince them that it is real. My personification was the love interest, how they want to believe it, but they just... don't know. They don't know what to believe any longer, and feel broken. If anything, the tears were based off the line "You don't wanna keep swimming in the ocean you cried".

6. True Colors // Burgundy
This song overall had a lot of meaning. This is what the whole thing is based off of, after all. "True Colors" truly stands for showing everyone your imperfections, how you aren't perfect even when people think you are. The facial expression on the "person" is happy, as they just revealed their "true colors". I tried to take the happy side of the chorus for this fan art, but you never know; I might do the other side. "All my life, one page at a time / I'll show you my, my true colors / No I won't apologize for the fire in my eyes / Let me show you my, my true colors, it ain't no rainbow".

7. Straight Into The Fire // Orange
The design in based off the title itself, and a lot of the lyrics referring to burning the negativity like paper in the sun. The pose though is based off the last verse, "I will not rest until I see / The other side / I will not rest until I learn / To say goodbye", as it's about forgetting your last relationship.

8. Papercut // White
"Papercut" is one of the songs where it's hard to pin-point what it's about. After analyzing, it's really about having a fight with your partner, not admitting anything at first, the wound being healed, and after being distanced, coming back and admitting your faults. The personification is mainly based off the line "I'll reach for you and remember / It was just a paper, just a paper cut", it being, basically, the memory of the incident.

9. Bumble Bee // Yellow
This song isn't much... the design was based off how the whole song is basically an EDM song, with only a sliver of lyrics. "Break through / Break through / Break through / It's alright to break through". So, the design is based off the title and sound of the whole song. The broken pieces of the personification is based off the lyrics.

10. Daisy // Green
The design is what the song refers to as "Daisy", or the crush. The singer (Julia, who also signs "Straight Into The Fire") goes on to say Daisy is going the wrong direction with love, and wishes they would realize that they (the singer) is the right one for them. The "dancing" is referenced to "Daisey, always dancing to the same beat / Broken record stuck on repeat, Daisey, you got me".

11. Illusion // Light Blue
This song is pretty much referring to finding out false love. The singer (Sydney from Echosmith) was describing how even though the relationship is over, she wanted it to be like a fairytale, but... Fairytales are illusions. My design is mainly based off the chorus; "This love is your illusion, this love is your illusion / Take me to a place with real-life love / I need a break from this broken-down fantasy / Show me a place I can realize love, not your illusion".

There's an +1 of sleep gone. XD
