RECOMMENDED MATERIALS!!!: - Prismacolor Colorer Pencils These blend very very well, but they are expensive! Regular color work okay if you color LIGHTLY!!!
- Prismacolor Colorless Blender Very cheap for a pack of two! A must for blending!!!!
- White Pen I recommend white gel pens, but whatever you use will work!
First step is having the color family for your eye ready at hand! Generally for a color family, you need four, but you could always use more!
For this example, the character has blue eyes.

I have a limited amount of blues, but these are the four I chose. 1. (PC 904) A very light color, which will be our base! 2. (PC 1027) The main color of the eye, which will be the middle color seen in the eye. 3. (PC 906) The shadow of the color, that will be seen at the top of the eye. 4. (PC 901) The DARKEST color, which will only be used as a small pupil!
Let's get coloring!
Once you have your color family, select your lightest color and LIGHTLY color the base of the eye! I recommend keeping your hand above the paper, but having a enough control to color it in the desired area.

Using your second color, go from the top and color, keeping about a fourth of the eye still the base color. KEEP THIS LIGHT STILL!!! On the edges of the lineart, darken it a little.
