~Meredith's pov~

The ball has been going on for awhile now. Im so tired out from dancing. I stayed close to Alois the whole night. I looked at everyone having a blast. Until i noticed a boy our age with an eye patch. I walked over to him while Alois was talking about my world. This boy im heading to does not look happy. Maybe someone knows my pain. I finally got to him.

"Excuse me sir. I noticed that you're alone." I said

"Yes i am. Oh, I'm Ciel Phantomhive." He said taking ,my hand and kissing it.

"I'm Meredith, nice to meet you."

"Wait? You're Meredith? THE Meredith?!"

"Yes i am. Wait? You're Ciel? THE Ciel?!"

"Of course.  Do you know me?"

"Yes. Its a long story. I'll explain later. But why do you know about me?"

"A shit load of Alois talking about you."

"Why?"

"He cares about you. Then he lost you. Thats it in a nutshell."

"I know what loss feels like."

"So do I. Come lets go take a walk." Ciel held out his arm.

I gladly liked arms with the boy. For as mean as he looks he was nice.  We went to the garden. Wow the Trancy garden is beautiful. When we started walking i let go of his arm. We saw a bench to sit on.

"Alright, if you wouldn't mind can you explain how you know me?" He asked

~TIME SKIP~

After explaining the whole 'you're in a show' thing Ciel looked shocked. It made my day explain everything. It was his life. Even the losses.

"Okay Meredith. What was your loss? If you dont mind." He asked

"No it completely fine.  I dont know where to start."

He held my hand then laced his fingers with mine.

"Its okay take your time. His balls last for a long time." He said with a slight smile.

"Well since I was born i had 1 friend. She was always there for me. Everyday i got to see her. She aged faster than i did. But in reality we were the same age. But the time came to quick for me to say goodbye. I miss her too much. I want her back but cant. I found happiness with her. Now its kind of gone."

"Im sorry. What was her name?"

"Misty."

"Well she sounds like a great person."

"Its a dog."

"Oh didnt see that coming. By the way I'm known as the queen's guard dog."

"That make me lighten up. Now i can have a new dog."

"You're creative aren't you?"

"Yes i am.  Plus its getting cold. Lets go inside."

I linked arms again as we headed back. I want to be in Alois' s arms. I mean im not Ciel's type. Plus he is engaged. When we get back in i see Alois talking again. I said goodbye to Ciel and walked over to the blond. When i got there i still felt cold. I shivered.

"Meredith, my love, you look cold come here. " Alois said .

I walked over to him. I bowed infront of the people he was talking to. They left us alone.

"Are you cold?" He asked

I nodded he came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I felt myself warm up quickly. I loved his warmth around me. Even when i sleep i could feel him.

"Much better." He said

"Alois, love? Can i have tea?" I asked

"Sure what kind?"

"Earl grey please."

"Claude on cup of earl grey tea." As if Claude was listening

The next minute he came out with tea. Freaky as hell. I took the tea and stood with Alois. We talked about what happened while we were separated.

"Alois i have an idea." I said

"What?"

"Do you have a piano on wheels?"

"Yes why?"

"Lets put on a show."

We had gotten everyone's attention as we were about to play. Ciel and Sebastian came over the sides of the piano. Alois and i started. Ciel and Sebastian joined in on the first verse. When we got back to the chorus it was Ciel and Alois. Second verse was Sebastian and I. Then we all finished the song together. This was great. I loved them all. Especially Alois. Claude started rolling the piano out of the room. I followed him.

"That was amazing my little spider." He said

"Like you." I retorted

"Thank you for that."

"You know i mean it."

He stopped and stared at me. I looked down.  He lifted my chin up with his fingers. He leaned in and placed a kiss on my lips. He pulled back with a smile.

"And i meant that." He said
