Cindy's Point of View
"Are you sure your okay?" Pierce asked as he placed his arm around my waist to prevent me from falling over again.
"Yeah," I smiled uneasily as my head spun, "Just dizzy is all."
"Alright," He said, unconvinced.
I cautiously sat down on the couch, hoping I wasn't seeing things again and the couch wasn't actually there. Thankfully, it was.
I sighed as I leaned back into the couch and allowed my eyes to drift closed.
It's been a long day. And it's only three in the afternoon.
Meeting the whole pack was difficult, considering everyone thought I was a slut or a whore or something worse.
Were the girls Pierce brought home really that bad?
I heard a gasp, then a high squeal as a girl tackled Pierce before he could sit on the couch.
"Boyfriend!" She cried happily, hugging him tightly.
Apparently, they were.
I growled lowly, but was too tired to move my muscles. Which was odd for any wolf.
The girls red head bobbed up as she glared at me, straddling my mate.
"What is you problem?" She snapped angrily.
Pierce shoved the girl off of him, an angry look on his face.
"He's mine," I replied in a sleepy voice.
Way to go, Cindy. Way to defend your mate.
She stood in front of me, hands on hips.
"The last time I checked, he is my mate and I am the Luna of his pack," She said with a smirk, "So you can take your little slutty behind and stomp your ass out of this house."
She looked angry now, a perfectly manicured finger pointing towards the front door where she had just come from.
"Get out," Pierce snapped angrily, his eyes narrowed slightly as he stood in front of me.
The girls jaw dropped.
"B-But Pierce!" She said in a high voice, her voice on the verge of tears.
I groaned and held my head as it felt as if someone were writing things on my brain with a sharp needle.
The girl cried in outrage as Pierce ran to my aid, stomping up the stairs angrily.
I screamed when Pierce touched me, his hand felling like fire on my skin.
Pierce instantly retracted his hand and the pain went away instantly.
Pierce pulled me into his cheat as tears streamed down my face, but this time there was no pain.
He whispered soothing words into my ear and held me to his chest as I silently cried.
Something was wrong with me.
~~~~~*~~~~~
"I am not tired," I said, smiling at Pierce as he held his hand out to me.
He raised an eyebrow challengingly.
"You still need sleep," He insisted, "It's getting late."
I rolled my eyes and sighed dramatically as I took his hand. I giggled when he pulled me up, causing me to crash into his chest.
"We should dance instead," I noted as his hands gripped my waist gently. I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Hmm," He murmured thoughtfully, "That's a good idea."
