Mitch's POV:
It's been a couple years since my confession and boy have things changed...
I checked myself in my mirror 1 more time to make sure everything looked good. No, I'm not going on a date, but I AM going to school.
First day of sophomore year, I thought, can't get any better than this.
I was on my way to my locker when I felt someone's hand pull on my shirt. I turned to see Kirstie holding tight to my Ralph Lauren. "Yes Kit Kat?" I say. "Scotty is being mean! He won't let me see his schedule!" She stuck her bottom lip out and begged me to get Scott's schedule. "Kirst! We're sophomores now, you can't let the upperclassman see you acting like a child." I smirked. As she gawked, I finally got my locker open and put my supplies in it. "Speaking of Scott, where is the big oaf anyways?" I said glancing up at her and saw her sigh. Uh-oh, that wasn't good. I stood up and closed my locker. "Kirstin, where is he?" I said with my stern voice. I watched her point to a group of girls.
Ugh! I get Scott looks good, but did they have to be all over him like ants. I guess that's what happens when your friends with one of the hottest guys in school. Girls throw themselves at him left and right, it's disgusting and pathetic if you ask me... "Stop being a jealous bitch, Mitchie" I hear Kirstie say then laugh. "I am NOT being a 'jealous bitch' Kirstie!" How dare she think that! "Then why are you giving those girls death stares? Babe, if looks could kill, they'd be dead by now." "I'm just... Just observing their behavior. It's quite slutty, if you ask me." I reply back to her, shrugging. Oh my gosh, how much more do I have to watch before I throw up?
"I'm going over." And with that I was on my way to the crowd of leaches- I mean girls.
"Hey Scotty!" I say in my best happy voice I could find at the moment. I see him look up and smile. Oh God, that smile. It can make the darkest trench fill with light and make the coldest heart melt. "Mitchie! I'm glad you're here. Meet Ana, Kelsey, Meg, and uh... What's your name?" He said as I snickered. The girls all turned and gave me disapproving glares. "My name's Beca..." she finally spoke up. "Yeah, Beca! That's it!" Scott answered after her. "Ugh, whatever!" She said as she walked away with whatever those other girls names were. "Why'd they leave?" he asked, "Scotty, you're so oblivious sometimes!" Or should I say most of the time. "They were mad 'cause I came over AND you forgot that leader girls name." I say matter-of-factually. He screwed his face together and let out an "I guess" before we both walked over to Kirstie, who was waiting with a smirk plastered on her face. "Jealous bitch" she sang out. I could only laugh because Scott was here. "Did I miss something?" "Yep" was all he got from me and Kirstie.
"So, schedule time!" She shouted.
"Ow, I do need my ears!"
"Sorry... I'm just excited to see what our classes are!" She said as we all pulled out our schedules to compare them. "English, History, Math, Science, Choir, Lunch, then Art... What about you guys?" I asked. "Uhm, I got English, Science, Weight Training, Math, Choir, Lunch, then History." Scott said. At least I'll be seeing him throughout my day. Next was Kirstie "History, English, Math, Cosmetology, Choir, Lunch, and lastly Science." Whew, they both have some type of class with me, and we all have choir together! "Guys, we have choir and lunch together!" Scott was about to speak when the bell for class rang. "Maybe next time Hoying!" Kirstie said before saying she had to go to half way across the school grounds to get to her class. "Off to see the Wizard?" I say to Scott. He only laughed and shook his head. "Let's go Todo!" he said with a smirk and walked off.
