(A/N: I probably will be going back into this and adding new content here and there down the road in the next few weeks as I see fit, since as much as the original story was fantastic (I never expected this to take off the way that it did or to receive the support that it did from others, thank you all very much for that indeed), there is definitely some stuff that could be added on to it. So with that in mind, this is probably the only new part to the story that will be added on unless I say otherwise. But seriously, I never expected to get so hooked on writing these two. Colton and Kayla. The girl with the bow from Cabin Seven and the vicious gun-wielding monster from Cabin Five. They've grown on me to say the least, and honestly there's not a day in these times when I'm not thinking about them. So anyways, enjoy!)

Oh, these years.. what memories do they bring back every time I think about them.

I feel the exact same way.

If you are now reading this as of this moment, judging on how your reaction to the following information may go, you're either normal or need to get the hell out of your hometown as fast as possible. I'll explain in a bit. But first off, I know this is completely cliche given what Percy has written, but did either of us ask to be a half blood?

No, we did not. Neither of us asked for any of this. But ironically, had we not, we would never have found each other.

Yeah. We didn't ask to be a half-blood, but would either of us have traded it for the world? I certainly wouldn't have, not after I met her.

Neither would I, because while the life of a half-blood is never easy, what they find along the way can sometimes be worth a lifetime. Even if it's a boy that's already broken that you make whole again.

I would never have expected that fate would lead me to a girl who would be the spark for me to become the greatest demigod of all time in this timeline of the tale as old as time, that of my rival, Percy Jackson.

Before I came here to Camp Half Blood, while I had seen some strange things before I turned 13, I would never suspected that it would lead me to an incredible family even if the Gods do suck a lot, the most amazing siblings on earth, and best of all, lead me to the love of my life — the monstrous killer from Cabin Five that turned out to be so much more.

Percy would probably say close this book now and try to lead a normal life so you don't get wrapped up in this world we live in, where monsters are real, the gods are led by an incompetent asshole and follow an outdated set of laws, and you get thrown into situations constantly that no kid or teenager should ever have to be in.

But hear what both of us have to say. Don't do that — please. Because sometimes there's a story that should be told for generations regardless of how outrageous or unbelievable it may sound, because history has a habit of selecting the most unlikeliest of people to become the greatest of their time, and perhaps of all time. Or how just one individual even existing changes the fates of so many that by all accounts should have been dead by the time my father recovered Godhood for the second time.

Like she said, I never would have imagined that I would have to go through so much in the span of a few years just to finally be with the girl I love without anything else out there trying to tear the world apart. Trust me, you all have absolutely no clue about the insane amount of responsibility and also pulling superhuman and borderline in-human feats out of my own ass that I had to do to get to this point. All the times where it all came down to me and I had the weight of the entire world on my shoulders, in those moments that you probably only see in movies.

It's funny really.. in probably any other timeline of this series, I wouldn't really have all that much impact on the tale you're all so often familiar with. The one Percy knows so well in the timeline where he's the hero and the face of the franchise. This timeline isn't one of those timelines — in fact, it could be argued that our timeline is an anomaly when it comes to demigods. Because in this timeline, I ended up being the reason that someone else other than Percy ended up being the hero that we all followed. In this timeline, I was the main heroine.

But just to be safe, if you feel something inside you stirring that feels like it's putting together the pieces of all the weird things you've seen or done in your life up to this point, then know this. One, it's most likely that you're one of us. A half blood. Two, once you know that, just know that it's only a matter of time before the monsters — those which still aren't loyal to Olympus to this day — will be coming straight for you with the intent to kill.

In the event this happens, make sure your parents reveal the truth as soon as possible and then start making your way for Long Island as soon as possible. If you are part of any other pantheon, please go instead to the appropriate place. Because now that you know the truth, it's no longer safe to be by your mortal parents' side for now. They're in danger too if you remain where you are. Trust me, a lot of us here would know, Colton especially.

Yeah.. thanks Kay. But seriously, like she said, make sure your parents know the truth and then start hauling your ass over to Long Island as fast as you can. But if you are curious as to who exactly the two people who are writing this here are and why they and not Percy Jackson are the main heroes, it is advisable to read this while making the trek to where it all began.

Camp Half Blood.

I'm Colton Reynolds, the son of Ares.

And I'm Kayla Knowles, the daughter of Apollo.
