We discussed it with Alby, and he agreed we had to put Newt in the pit. They couldn't banish him, because it wasn't really him.
I believed he could snap out of it, and so I sat behind the bars, on a safe distance. I waited and waited.

My neck still hurt, but the pain of seeing Newt this way was worse. He was laying on the ground, with dried blood on his pretty face.

Chuck brought me a sandwich.
'Thanks Chuck, I appreciate that.' I said, with my mouth full.

'You're welcome. Are you okay?'

'I'm fine, I'm waiting for him to wake up. How is Ther... um, the girl?'

Chuck sat down next to me, and answered 'Still asleep.'

I didn't answer, we just sat there for a while before he left.

I sat there for an other hour by myself, then I heared Newt mumble something.
I stood up and walked over to him. Maybe he had woken up being... him.

Newt sat in the corner on the ground. He watched me with a void look on his face.

'Newt?'

'I have to kill you.'

I snapped. 'Okay kill me. Kill me!'
I opened the door.
I slowly walked towards him, kneeled, and took his face in my hands. 'Newt, you can do this, I know you can. Either kill me or kiss me. It's your choice.'
He stared at me, like he didn't know what to do.
'Newt, please. DO IT.'
I gave him a small kiss on hiss lips, and when I looked up at his eyes he had tears.  'Rose?'

'Yes, it's me, god please say this is you, too.'

'It's me, I... I... I remember everything I did, not like it was me, but more like a dream. I remember everything.'

Thank god, I thought,  it was him. He touched my neck. It was a bit painful. 'I did that. I'm... so, so sorry. Does it hurt?' He stumbled back, his face full of horror. He fell down to the ground, crawling backwards as far as he could, and looked over at me. He was laying against the wall now.

'A bit, but it's okay. It's not your fault.'

'It is my fault, Rosalie. It's all my fault. Go, Rose. Get out of here before I hurt you again.'

'No...' And I was crying again. I rubbed it away, angry. 'I'm so sick of crying. Come on, let's just get out of here.'

'Maybe it's better if I just stay here.' His voice sounded so small. 'If I'm in here, I can't hurt you. Just go, Rose. Now.' He was screaming the last part.

'You won't hurt me. I trust you, Newt.' My voice was shaking and I wiped my tears away.

'I already did. You stupid shank, get out!' He yelled at me. You could hear it did a lot on him that he had hurt me.

'Maybe that's better, Rosalie.' A voice behind me said. I looked around me and saw Alby.
'No, no, no! He is fine now! Please don't.'

Alby walked towards me and took my hand. He nodded at Newt, as if he was saying 'I'll handle it.'
'No!' But Alby pulled me away. Maybe he was right... what if the creators tried something again? I didn't want to die? But Newt was innocent. He didn't deserve this.

And I was out of the room. Alby closed the door, and I looked at Newt.
'I'll be fine, Rose, please go.' He said with a weak voice.

And so I walked away from him, while I was sobbing.
