I woke up because someone knocked on the door. 'Rosa? Are you in here?'
I moaned. 'Yeah! I'll be there in a minute.' I glanced next to me, Newt was still asleep. I quietly left the bed and I put on my clothes. I left the room and walked outside.
I saw Minho pack a back.
'Good morning! Did you sleep well?'

'Good morning! Yes, I did.'

'But not very long?'

'Euh... What?'

'I heared you and Newt last night.' Minho laughed.

'Oh, please.' I rolled my eyes. 'Are we ready to go?'

'I'm not complaining, Newt's happy with you. That's good. Yeah, let's go.'

We ran towards the East door. It was still closed, and we waited in front of it.
'Are you ready?' Minho asked me.

'As ready as a person can be.'

'That's the spirit.' Minho chuckled.

The door opened and we entered the maze. I followed him, running next to him. We ran with the same speed, or maybe Minho was holding himself back for me. He probably was, but it was my first day in the maze, legal, so I didn't want to sprint through it. Plus, I was curious so I was just looking around.
We passed section 4, 8, 2. We ran and ran. After a while, we took a break.
'So what are we looking for exactly?' I asked.

'We're looking for unusual things, patterns that seem out of place.' Minho answered.

'Mmm.' I took a zip out of my bottle of water. I had no idea what he was talking about. What patterns?

'You done?' He asked.

'Yeah.' I put the bottle back in my bag and we left again, going north.

We ran until we were at section 6. 'Stop! How...'
I stopped running and glanced at Minho. 'What's wrong?'
'Section 6 isn't supposed to be open yet.'
I looked at the big, white '6' painted on the wall. 'That's weird...' I answered.
'Yeah. Come on, let's invastigate what's going on here.'
I nodded, and followed Minho, at first he walked but then he started running, looking around his shoulder, checking if I was following him. We ran down the big corridors, going left and right. We didn't see anything unusual, so we ran back. When we were almost out of section 6, the walls began closing.
'Oh no! Section 6 is closing, run harder!' Minho screamed.
'Okay!' I screamed back. I ran as hard as I could. I could hear the walls move behind me, it was almost catching up on us. 'It's trapping us!' I screamed.
'Just keep running! Don't... Look... Back!' He screamed back between breaths.

A wall was almost closing in front of us, leaving only a small gap. Minho went through it first, then me, I felt the door closing, the stone wall felt cold to my skin, it was leaving almost no space. 'Run, Rosalie, you're almost there.' Minho yelled from the other side. He gave me his hand, which I gladly took and he pulled me out, with so much power I lost my balance, and fell on top of him. I was heavily breathing. 'Sorry, thanks.' And I stood up.

I realised we weren't out of section 6 yet. 'Come on!' I yelled at Minho. He quickly stood up and we ran forward, left and then right, then left again. We ran out just on time, because section 6 closed immediatly after us.

We ran back in the diraction of the Glade, because it was almost closing time. We did not want to spend another horrible night in the maze, that would be a nightmare. We made it out alive one time, but that wouldn't mean we would survive another.

I observed the white, painted WICKED on a wall, wondering what it would mean. We almost entered the inner ring of the maze, before we heared a sound. It didn't sounded like foodsteps, more like big needles coming down at the ground, leaving a clicking sounds on the ground. Click, click, click. It came from the corridor left of us. Minho halted, and looked around the corner.
'What is it?' I whispered.
'Griever.' He whispered back, still looking around the corner. 'But it hasn't noticed us yet. That gives us a advantage.' He added.
'Isn't there an other way to the Glade?' I asked, as quiet as I could.
He shook his head.
'So what are we going to do?'
'We're gonna run.'
