Chapter 57

Jaune was in class, but not the class that he would normally be in. No, he was in an ordinary Japanese class, with the tables, chairs and atmosphere. For the past few weeks, he has been stuck in this world without the ability to return to Remnant. Not that his abilities were blocked or something. When he tried to return to Remnant, he ended up in a parallel world.

This frustrated him. He didn't know what was going on, and the voice of the dreamscape hadn't been responding either. However, the Dreamscape itself was still functional. It was where he would go to relieve some of his frustrations by blowing up demons in Eldoria to the point of evolving. It turns out, he could turn off [Gluttony], which allowed him to level up.

Jaune looked at his stats, and he was all smiles. When he evolved to High Human, the power of the BP became even more insane. Why? Because before, 1BP was 1BP. But now, 1BP is equivalent to 1 billion BP in pre-evolution, which is why the B in the previous stats that indicates a billion is now gone.

He sighed. He was happy that he got stronger, but he was a bit saddened that he could not go to the dances with the girls, at least not yet. He was hoping that when he got back to his version of Remnant, it would be before he disappeared.

For now, Jaune was looking to do something while he was in his current world, and he had the perfect person to help him relieve some boredom. Ichigo Kurosaki just walked into the room and was looking around. He noticed that no one remembers Rukia. Of course, Jaune is not part of those people.

Now, Jaune was smirking. In the original story, Ichigo would go back to Urahara today, as it would be the school vacation, but he wanted to be the one to train Ichigo. So, he decided to move quickly before the end of school.

What would be the fastest way? Well, Jaune put the entire school to sleep. Then teleported all the people to their homes in an instant and kidnapped Ichigo and brought him to his temporary home in this current world.

In an unfamiliar space, Ichigo woke up and was startled at what he saw. There were zombies everywhere, but there was also a bubble that was protecting him from them. He looked around, and he saw Jaune. He recognised him as the new kid, which was weird since he transferred just weeks before the school vacation.

Ichigo stood up and headed to Jaune. He then said, "Hey! You're the new kid, right? Arc-san?"

Jaune looked at Ichigo and said, "You're very weird, do you know that? You are in a place that is infested with zombies, and you don't even bat an eye."

Ichigo said, "I've seen worse. They are pretty slow, so I can just get away quite easily."

Jaune laughed at him, "You would think that, but you are wrong. In this place, there are indeed slow zombies, but there are fast ones and strong ones."

Ichigo raised an eyebrow and said, "Ok...So, that would mean you are familiar with this place. That means, you know where we are."

Jaune nodded at him as he stroked a black cat, "Of course, I know where we are. I was the one who brought you here in the first place."

Now, this made Ichigo alarmed. However, before he could do anything, Jaune spoke, "Relax. I don't plan to harm you in any way. And even if I did, I would have done so while you were knocked out. Then again, I doubt you would be able to harm me since you are just a regular human once again."

Ichigo scowled. He said, "You are one of them! Shinigami from Soul Society."

Jaune shook his head. He replied, "I'm not from Soul Society, and I am not a Shinigami. You know, the question you should be asking me is why I brought you here."

Now, Ichigo was in a battle stance, which Jaune just continued to smirk. He said to Ichigo, "Urahara could have helped you regain your Shinigami powers in a few days by cutting your soul chain and shoving you in a deep hole, but I think there is a faster way."

Jaune took out an item from his [Inventory] and tossed it to Ichigo. To be honest, it is a scary-looking pill, but it is something that would help Ichigo regain his Shinigami powers quite quickly.

As Ichigo analysed the pills, Jaune spoke, "That is called a Shinigami Pill. Those with the potential to become a shinigami would become one in an instant with that pill. However, if one does not have that potential to become a shinigami, then the pill becomes useless."

Ichigo looked at the pill and said, "Are you saying all I have to do is swallow this pill and I will become a shinigami?"

Jaune replied, "Yes, but before that, since we are here, why don't you say the words 'Status'?"

Ichigo looks sceptical, but does it anyway, "Status!"

Just like with the RWBY girls, there was no way for Ichigo to add BP other than through level-up.

Ichigo was shocked, not because of all the zeros on his stats, but because he saw something crazy. His Race said Human Hybrid, and he was part Hollow and Quincy, meaning he was related to Uryu Ishida.

Ichigo was shocked and said, "Why is this telling me that I am part Hollow and Quincy? Is that even possible? And if so, how?"

Jaune sighed, "You don't know your history, do you? DO you wish for me to tell you? Or do you want your father and Urahara to be one to tell you the truth?"

Ichigo scowled even more than earlier, "Are you telling me my father knows about this? He is involved with the supernatural! It doesn't matter who tells me the truth, I want to know!"

Thus, Jaune went into detail about the history of Urahara, Masaki, Isshin and everything that Ichigo needed to know. He was even informed about the truth of what happened to Rukia. The reason why her powers were not replenishing as they should have.

After a moment, Ichigo downs the pills, and Jaune smirked. Urahara is a man who makes sure that things go his way. What would happen if there were a factor that he is not able to control or manipulate in any way?

As the pill did its job, Ichigo did not see his body in the ground as he would have expected. This confused him. Normally, when he becomes a shinigami, he would be witnessing his body on the ground.

Ichigo was baffled. He said, "What happened to my body?"

Jaune chuckled, saying, We are not in the real world as of this moment, we are in my Dreamscape. It is similar to your inner world, but different at the same time. Now, since you've gained your shinigami powers, it is time for me to train you in swordsmanship and Kidō. And this little cat would help you with Shunpo later."

My last statement confused Ichigo. After all, how would a cat teach him anything?
