Chapter 59

The day for the group to embark on their journey to Soul Society has come. Everyone was already gathered and ready to use the Senkaimon to get everyone to Soul Society. It was even a special one with a spirit converter, which essentially converts a living being into a spiritual being.

Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Yoruichi, and Uryu were in front of Urahara as he explained the gate. He also spoke about how they only had four minutes to get to the other side or they risk being stuck in the Dangai forever.

Urahara looked at the group and said, "It seems you are all ready to tackle your tasks. So? What are you all waiting for?"

Yoruichi, in her cat form, says, "Hold on, there is another we are waiting for."

Urahara looked at her and said, "I was not aware there was another who was joining you."

Besides Ichigo and Yoruichi, the others were also confused, as their entire group is already here.

Yoruichi smirks as a cat and says, "Weren't you interested in the person who trained Ichigo? Then it is time for you to meet him."

As Yoruichi spoke, no one was able to notice Jaune until he picked her up, and Urahara saw it. He was alarmed that someone was able to sneak past him. He realised that the person before him was more dangerous than he thought.

Jaune spoke as he picked up Yoruichi, saying, "Sorry, I'm late. I forgot that today was the day you all head to Soul Society."

He then saw the gate and added, "So, this is the Senkaimon?"

He touched the gate and analysed it. The system had its flaws, but it was not an issue for him to improve upon. Using [Absolute Calculation], Jaune was able to understand the entire structure of the gate without any issue. Then, using [Mystic Arts], he created an Eldritch Portal that had the properties of particle conversion.

Jaune pointed at his portal and said, "I think this is safer. We don't have to go through the Dangai. Plus, it didn't trigger the alarm of Soul Society."

Urahara was gobsmacked. He had widened eyes and an open mouth. This time, it was Yoruichi, even in her cat form, who took a picture of his expression. It was another blackmail material for her.

Urahara was not sure how it was possible, saying, "What is that? How did you make it by simply making a circle motion with your arms?"

Jaune smirked and said, "Hey! You have your secrets, I have mine."

This caused Urahara's eyebrows to twitch. He then looked at Yoruichi, and she just shrugged her cat shoulders at him. It was clear she was not going to give him any answers. All he could do was sigh since they did not have much time. He wanted them to head to Soul Society as soon as they could, since things are getting dire. He could feel it.

Uryu looked at Jaune and said, "Are you a Shinigami?"

Jaune looked at him and said, "Nope! I'll have you know that I'm a full-blooded human, unlike that guy over there."

Jaune was obviously pointing at Ichigo, and he saw it as an insult. I tried to jump kick Jaune, but before he could touch him, something in the ground rose and grabbed him. This was the Icy Tendrils of Ikthalon. It then started to swing Ichigo back and forth. He then dropped the guy on his ass.

Jaune then said, "Anyways, it is time for us to depart, no?"

Ichigo stood back up and groaned, while the others nodded at him.

Urahara looked at Yoruichi and gave her a look that said, I hope you know what you are doing, which the cat just gave him a nod. This was very crucial for them since it was dangerous for their enemy to get their hands on the item that was sealed inside Rukia.

Urahara then looked at Jaune and sighed. He has been probing the guy, but he could not feel a significant amount of power from the man. However, he was very curious about the things he saw the guy did. Creating a portal to Soul Society that is stable and bypasses the Dangai was beyond impressive. And it was done effortlessly.

As Urahara was contemplating, the group had already headed through the portal and was on their way to their destination. The portal has yet to close. This gave him the time to analyse the portal and how it works. However, the moment he was about to touch the portal, he tripped and fell in. This shocked him since he was able to get through the portal, but also because it closed the moment he fell through it. This only means one thing: Jaune anticipated him to try and analyse the portal, and he was sure that there was a blue tendril-like thing that caused him to trip inside.

Urahara only had one thought, 'Well played. I did not even think there was a way to bypass the exile system of Soul Society. Then again, the portal did bypass its security with ease.'

Jaune already set up a recording system in front of the portal and would later check to see the moment Urahara fell in. It would be hilarious! For what is about to happen, he decided not to participate yet. This would be a time for Ichigo to gain experience in using all his abilities. Fighting zombies in the Dreamscape was not enough, as they don't really have the mental capacity to outmanoeuvre him, as strong and fast as they may be.

Arriving at the entrance, I took out a book and checked to make sure that the event was still correct, and it was. This is where Ichigo would encounter Jidanbo. It was also to make sure that all that was in the book was correct, and so far, aside from his interference, there have been no discrepancies. All was good.

Just as Jaune finished reading parts of the book, Ichigo was already trapped with Jidanbo. It only took a moment for Ichigo to shatter the axe of the giant. For such a big guy, he is quite a softy. While Jaune was thinking, Jidanbo got his arm cut off, and the next second, Ichigo was sent flying along with Jidanbo.

Jaune sighed. How could Ichigo be careless? Or is there some kind of force that is preventing major changes to the timeline? He did not have a conclusive answer yet, but he was going to make his move to make changes that could be beneficial. So, he Shunpo'd to the gate and kept it using his [Absolute Armament], which is unbreakable.

Gin, the captain who sent Ichigo flying, saw this and took a stance to send Jaune away from the gate so that it could close. He extended his sword so quickly that no one was able to see, yet, just as quickly, Jaune pinched the tip of the sword, causing Gin to be the one sent backwards.

Realising what was happening, Gin stopped his sword's extension and tried to pull it back, but to no avail. It was complete lodged between Jaune's fingers. No matter what Gin did, it wouldn't budge.

Jaune looked at the Zanpakuto, saying, "Not bad. The speed is something that most would not be able to see coming. Before they knew it, they would have been stabbed. Unfortunately, you are not strong enough."

After Jaune said his piece, using his fingers, he shattered the Zanpakuto. He then sent a simple, but overpowered Sho at Gin, sending him flying and knocking him out.

Jaune then looked at the group behind him and saw the state of Jidanbo. The giant was now missing an arm. To this, Jaune took out a herb from his [Inventory] and gave it to the gentle giant. After it was consumed, it completely regenerated his missing arms.

As all of this was happening, from afar, Urahara was looking gobsmacked. He did not think that Jaune was strong, to the point of defeating a Captain with ease.

Urahara sighed, then smirked, saying, "This just got more interesting. I wonder how he is going to react to having a new player on his board, one he has not foreseen nor would be able to manipulate. At least, I have a feeling that Blondie is not someone who can be easily manipulated, or at all. It'll be fun seeing how his entire master plan falls apart, faster than he can adapt to make changes to benefit him."

However, Jaune was not the only thing that was new to this world. Another is in this world who is looking for his downfall. A being that surpasses the Soul King, although still in its incubation period.
