Jaune Arc - Dreamscape

Chapter 58

It has been a productive time in the Dreamscape, at least for Ichigo. The guy was able to learn how to properly wield his Reiryoku, then followed his Reiatsu. Of course, with his Reiatsu and Reiryoku in control, he was then taught how to wield Kidō. This Ichigo would be vastly different from his Prime version. However, he was yet to learn any Quincy abilities since Jaune was not aware of how to use them, for now.

Jaune looked at Ichigo head into Urahara's shop, whiles having a black cat in hand. He said, "I wonder how Urahara would react when he finds out Ichigo already has his Shinigami powers? At the same time, he is able to enter and exit his body at will. This is going to be a blast!"

The black cat looked at him and said, "You are one mysterious man, Jaune. How did you even know who or what I was? And how were you able to bring me to that place in the first place? So many questions, yet you refuse to answer any of them."

Jaune smirked. He replied, "Where would be the fun in that? Don't get me wrong, if the information is important, I would say what it is right away, but if it isn't in any way going to cause harm, I have my fun."

The black cat looks at Jaune and says, "How about that sword you gave him? That was no ordinary sword. It also isn't an ordinary Zanpakuto."

Jaune smiled and replied, "That's because that was a Zanpakuto I created using a special skill and energy of mine. It is a perfect fit for Ichigo and only Ichigo. Anyone else would not be able to turn it into their Zanpakuto."

The black cat then asks, "What are you anyway? I don't feel you are a threat, but I can tell you are a dangerous man as an enemy. You said you are not a Shinigami, but a human, yet you are able to use Kidō, and you were also able to learn Shunpo from me."

Jaune just shrugged his shoulders. He watched Ichigo head into the shop and followed. He tightened the Loop of Binding to immense levels, to the point that he would be seen as nothing more than a simple human. Yet, he was still able to use his abilities to hide himself; such was the joy of Extreme Concealment.

The black cat knows how sensitive Urahara is. He should have already noticed Jaune. Thus, the cat said, "This is quite something. I have known Urahara for a long time. You are not even trying to work hard to conceal yourself, but he still hasn't noticed us. That should be impossible."

Jaune smirked, saying, "Impossible for others, but not for me."

Jaune continued to follow Urahara and Ichigo, along with the others, to the basement of the shop. Once they arrived, Ichigo wasn't even surprised that Urahara had something like this in his shop. He did look like the sketchy type that would have something like this.

Ichigo did not care for the theatrics that Urahara was performing about how amazing his underground training facility was. He started to stretch and said, "Since we don't have much time, let's start training already."

A smirk appeared from Urahara, and he used his cane to jab the head of Ichigo, pushing him outside of his body, but the smirk disappeared, and a surprised expression appeared. Without anyone's notice, except for a black cat, Jaune took out his scroll and took a picture.

Jaune laughed quietly and said, "Oh! This is golden blackmail material!"

The black cat said, "Indeed it is. I don't think I've ever seen Urahara be this surprised before. That is one hilarious expression."

Urahara stared at Ichigo and said, "How?! How were you able to awaken your latent Shinigami powers?"

Ichigo just rubbed the back of his neck in irritation, "Does it really matter? I've regained my Shinigami powers, and that is all that matters. But that is not all I've done in a single night."

Ichigo donned his new Zanpakuto. It was not the overly large katana that it used to be. It was now two swords, one being larger than the other.

The black cat looked at Ichigo's Zanpakuto and said, "How were you able to do it? Sever the connection of Ichigo's Quincy power and its origin?"

Jaune replied, "There is nothing that my [Absolute Armament] cannot cut. I just need to be aware of what it is that I need to cut."

The black cat said in a deadpan tone, "Yes, that BS weapon of yours. What is it in the first place? I am aware it isn't a Zanpakuto, but yet, it is still able to harm Spiritual Beings."

Jaune just smirked and said, "Like I said, there is nothing that my weapon isn't capable of cutting?"

Jaune then added, "Oh, look, they are about to begin!"

Jaune and the black cat were watching intently at the spar between Ichigo and Urahara. A simple Shunpo from Ichigo caught the shopkeeper off guard. He did not expect the newbie Shinigami to be able to perform high-speed movement, and that was enough to blast the hat off the man's head.

Urahara bent down to pick up his hat, but was met with a Byakurai, which he had to block, since he did not have time to dodge it. The power from the chantless Kidō was nothing he had ever seen before. Yes, chantless Byakurai can be performed by a master of Kidō, but to the level that he had to block, never.

The black cat eyed the Kidō and said, "Yet another insanity that you have taught Ichigo in a single day. Controlling his massive Spiritual Power and learning Kidō like it was as simple as breathing."

Jaune waved his hand back and forth, saying, "Meh! I'll give it four out of ten. It could have been faster and more potent if he compressed his Spiritual Power more before releasing it."

The black cat just shook its head at Jaune's impossible standard. If that were only a four out of ten, then everyone in Soul Society would be absolute garbage since no one is even close to what Ichigo performed with a low-numbered Kidō.

Urahara was now staring at Ichigo in disbelief. He said, "Seriously! Where did you learn how to use Kidō of that level in a single day! Its power and speed surpass the master of Kidō in Soul Society! It just doesn't make sense! Even if you were the greatest genius of all time, it should still not be possible!"

Jaune and the black cat looked at each other and smirked, with the cat saying, "This is quite refreshing. Normally, Urahara is the one with answers. Seeing him like this gives me joy!"

Jaune looked at the black cat and said, "Hey! What do you say I help you completely master your Shunkō: Raijū Senkei: Shunryū Kokubyō Senki? I know the drawback of it, that form gives you the mentality of a cat and allows the cat's nature of fickleness to manifest in your Reiatsu. While you are naturally moody, you become even more so in that form. Your Reiatsu becomes directly responsive to your changes in mood, and therefore becomes unstable by changing forty-eight times per second. But what if I told you that there is a way for you to take control of it?"

The black cat's eyes widened in disbelief, saying, "How do you even know that form! There is only a single person who has ever seen it! Then again, I am talking to the guy who seems to know everything that is going on in our world."

How does Jaune know what is going on in the Bleachverse? It is a very simple thing, really. It is called a Manga. During his first few days in this world, Jaune was in the Dreamscape shop and looking around to see if there was anything useful. Normally, there are potions, weapons, armours, etc., but never books, which is why he got curious. Upon buying the books, he realised that one of them was similar to his world, and it was called RWBY, while another of the many piles he bought was called Bleach.

From the book, he recognised the people and place. Nothing in the Dreamscape is ever useless. It could have been possible that since he could not contact the voice, it was giving him clues through the Dreamscape on where he is and what to expect.

Jaune shrugged his shoulder and said, "So? What do you think? What to give it a try?"

The real reason that Jaune was trying to train the black cat, which he knows is Yoruichi, is that they would need it in the future. They are going to be facing a power that is beyond them. Helping her reach the level required would allow less loss in the future. However, Jaune was thinking of also helping out when the time came.
