Finn Collins

I get escorted back to the gate by two riders on top of horses, holding a torch each to go through the fog.

Lexa wanted me to hand over Finn, to send him to his death. I couldn't do that.

Multiple flashlights shine onto us, guns clicking ready.

"Hold your fire! He's back!" Bellamy recognizes me first.

My dad calls out. "Open the gate."

I glance back at the riders. "Thanks for the escort. You're dismissed."

One speaks in English. "We're not leaving until you give us the boy."

I look away, going through the gate. "Shut it!"

I look around, seeing Finn. "You can't be out here."

He narrows his eyes in confusion. "What did she say?"

"The truce is good right?" Clarke joins my side.

I pinch the bridge of my nose. "They want Finn."

"What?" Bellamy tilts his head.

"That's insane." Raven overhears. "We're not giving him up."

Finn realizes why. "It's punishment. For what happened at the village. Blood for blood."

Clarke looks at him. "That's crazy."

"If we refuse?" Abby questions.

"They'll attack." I look at her. "She was clear about that."

A man in the crowd, which I hadn't noticed was formed around us, hollers out. "I say we give him up!"

"Get rid of him!" People start joining in.

"Give him to the Grounders!"

"Hey! That's not happening!" I turn my attention back to the boy. "It won't. I won't let them hurt you."

People start pushing in.

"Back off!" Bellamy gets to our defense immediately.

Raven looks at me desperately. "Y/N, you can't let them take Finn, please you can't."

"Hey, Raven, Raven. Raven, listen to me." I grab her arm. "Nothing is gonna happen to him. I promise, ok?" I look at Finn. "Nothing's happening."

"I'm not dying for him." A man walks up. "Spacewalker burned 3 months of oxygen from the Ark. He should've floated a long time ago. Throw him out!"

"Back off!" Raven throws a punch directly at the man's nose, having got away from me since she didn't have the crutches anymore, but some device around her leg.

"Stop, Raven!" Finn calls out but I hold him back.

A guard grabs Raven in a hold. "Let me go."

"It's the only option."

The crowd starts shouting as people get physical.

"Hey! Hey!"

Byrne grabs Raven's shoulder but the shorter girl whips around and punches her.

Two guards grab her. Some people get closer to Finn.

I pull out my gun and fire into the air. "Hey! Nobody's dying! Now get back to work! If I see anyone touching Finn, you die, simple!" I look at the guards that grabbed Raven. "Let her go."

I motion my head to what was basically my inner-circle and we walk into Alpha station.

But everyone here had the same thing on their minds: Finn Collins.
