A/N: Another chapter. I hope you enjoy.

-Clarke POV-

I can hear the wind whistling, shouting from anyone who somehow survived the blast but were hurt. People wailing fills my ears.

A horse gallops over the path, on fire, neighing in pain.

I hear the sound of someone shuffling over. I turn my head and see a grounder woman holding her own dismembered arm.

She collapses. I instinctively go to help her but somebody grabs my arm in a tight yet gentle hold.

"No. No. Clarke!" Lexa grabs my face.

"I could have warned them. I could have saved them." I pant out, ashamed.

"If they see us, they'll strike again."

I try to turn back upon a realization. "Y/N."

Lexa grabs me, stopping me from doing something she thinks is stupid. "Victory stands on the back of sacrifice. You know that. He knew that. We will use everything Y/N stood for." I notice her lip tremble only slightly.

The guilt in me burns up into a rage. "I want the Mountain Men dead, all of them."

Lexa grabs my hand and leads me away.

We hear a gunshot.

I immediately figure out from who. "The spotter. He aimed the missile. He's alone." I start to go in the direction of the sound.

"Clarke, just slow down." The brunette grabs my arm once again. "If he is a spotter, he's here to make sure we're dead. If he tells the mountain were alive-"

I cut the Commander off. "He won't."

"How can you be sure?"

"Because I'm gonna kill him." I tell her coldly.

-Y/N POV-

I yell as I try pushing the stuff off of me.

I hear gunshots all around but pay attention to this alone.

"Kid!"

I turn my head to see Slade behind some cover behind me, his arm stuck under a log. "Slade? Can you move?"

"No.... This log.... I felt it burn my arm, kid, my leg too." He grunts. "This is my end."

"What?"

"You best take care of Anya."

"You're not dying!" I strain to push the stuff off me.

"You can't move it! Difference is, you'll live."

I look to the side, seeing some fire get a bit closer towards the thin beam I was against. "Wouldn't be so sure."

I look around for anything useful. I notice a fallen spear, too far for either of us to reach.

I take a deep breath, getting myself ready. I lift the stuff on me as much as possible, quickly pulling out my sword.

I drop it to the ground, reaching down to pull off my belt.

"What are you doing...?" Slade sounded weak.

"Getting us out." I tighten one end around my sword hilt. I grip the other end and throw throwing it towards the spear to inch it closer.

"Kid...."

"Shut up."

"Kid."

"I'm getting you out!"
