Erica asked me about my dads training within 2 minutes of me getting onto the bus. "How could you forgot?!" Erica exclaimed.

"I don't know." I said panicked, "I just forgot..." "I don't understand how you could just forget!" Erica said.

A few people on the bus looked confused at us and I was to panicked to even care. Then I started to tell Erica all about what had happened yesterday.

"I wondered where you were yesterday." Erica said gently. "Yea.." I said. "I just flipped out and left." "I totally get it, I would have done the same thing to."

"So I guess that's why I forgot to ask my dad about the training." I said slowly. "That makes more sense" Erica replied.

Erica and I sat in silence for a few minutes and all that I thought about was how I forgot to ask my dad about his training.

How could I forget I kept saying to myself, How! My thoughts were stopped by Erica touching my arm. "Yes?" I asked Erica.

"I don't mean to bring up more problems but..." Erica trailed off. "What is it?" I asked bracing myself. "What about Apollo," Erica said " aren't you supposed to let him go this week?"

"Shit!" I said. "I forgot that to..." "We will figure this out," Erica said "for now just get through the day." "Alright." I said trying to compose myself before school started.

....................................

The bus came to a stop as I dreaded the day ahead of me. I thought about Apollo and my dads training. I tried not to focus on it but that's all that I could think about most of the day.

By the end of the day I was exhausted. I walked out of the front of the school dragging myself home. I slowly walked up to the bus stop and I put my bag onto the ground, then I sat down on my bag and I waited for the bus.

I sat there for few minutes until Erica came walking over to me. She sat down beside me and sighed. "How was your day?" I asked her. "Tiring."

"How was your day." Erica then asked me. "Just as you would think." I replied dryly. "I thought so." Erica said. We sat there for a little while until the bus showed up.

Then Erica and I slowly walked onto the bus, we sat down beside each other and rode the bus in silence. When the bus stopped in front of my house I simply said "goodbye" to Erica and walked off of the bus.

When I got to my house both of my parents were siting on the porch as if they were waiting for me. I sat down between my mom and my dad and I set my bag onto the porch.

"How was your day?" My dad asked after a few seconds of silence. "Fine." "Your father and I were just talking about the military." My mom said.

My heart fell, I knew that this moment was coming but that didn't make it any easier. "Okay" I managed to say. "So.." My dad said.

"Just tell me." I said quickly. I watched as both my parents exchanged a look and then focused back on me. "Lilly, I am leaving in exactly thirty days, and I'm going to train and work at a base in Africa."

The words went through my mind and I didn't know what to do. I was mad I was upset and most of all I was scared that something would happen to my dad.

Without saying a word I stood up and quickly ran to the barn. I took Clover out of her stall and I put and saddle on her and I mounted her.

Before I knew what I was doing I headed into the direction of the woods behind my house. I could hear my parents behind me tell me to stop and not to over react.

I didn't care though I just wanted to get away. When Clover and I entered the woods my parents voices faded until I couldn't hear them anymore. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________Hey everyone, I hope that you like this chapter.
