Midnight stallion

Chapter 4

The next morning I woke up with my head on my desk. I looked at the clock and It said 7:37, I was late!!

Last night after I talked to my parents Erica left my house and walked home.

Then I went upstairs to my room and I started to work on my homework, I had so much that I had to pull an all-nighter to finish it all.

When I woke up I gathered up all my books and I threw them in my bag. Then I changed into my stupid school uniform.

After that I ran downstairs grabbed an apple and I quickly ate it as I ran over to the barn.

When I got to the barn I filled the horses food buckets and then I gave them water.

After that I mucked out both the horses stalls and then I went outside and walked over to the shed.

When I got there I grabbed the water bucket that I left for the stallion and I walked back to the barn and I filled the water bucket up again.

After that I grabbed another bucket and I filled it with hay, then I walked out of the barn and I headed to the shed. When I got there I put the two buckets down for the stallion.

Then I headed back to the barn and I put Clover and Jinx back into there stalls.

After that I headed back to my porch just in time to see both my parents driving away to work, they both waved at me and I waved back.

When I got back into my house the clock said 8:25. So I had about 5 minutes until my bus came.

I grabbed my bag then I went upstairs to my room so I could grab my keys.

After that I walked out to my porch. Then I locked the door and the bus came into my driveway, so I got on the bus and sat down near the front of the bus.

Lilly Lilly, wake up Lilly!!! I opened my eyes to see Erica she was standing in the middle of the bus aisle with her hands on her hips.

When I opened my eyes Erica told me that it was almost 9 am and that I had fallen asleep on the bus. When I looked out the bus window I saw that we were in the school parking lot. So I quickly grabbed my bag and I got off the bus with Erica, as we passed the bus driver he glared at me.

I liked our bus driver, his name was Lincoln he was always friendly and he gave out candy at Halloween time.

After Erica and I got off the bus together I asked her how long I was asleep for? Erica said that she didn't know how long I was asleep for but when after everyone got off the bus she said that she saw me and that she tried to wake me up.

I told Erica that I didn't sleep much last night because I had so much homework.

Erica said that she had a lot of homework to last night, but she said that she went to bed around 10:30.

When Erica and I were done talking we both went into the school and we went to our first class together. The class we had together was gym.

We had gym twice a week together. When we got to gym I changed into my gym clothes and then the whole class was told to do laps around the gym.

My gym teachers name was mrs. Dawson, I really liked mrs. Dawson but today all I could think about was the stallion. I was so concentrated on the stallion that I tripped on my own two feet and I fell into the wall.

I was so embarrassed because everyone in my gym class saw me trip.

"Are you okay?" Mrs. Dawson said. I'm fine I said as she gave me a hand up off the floor. Mrs. Dawson told me to go to the school nurses office.
