Chapter Nine: Gone.
Summer shut her locker closed. She was so tired that all she wanted to do was go home and sleep in her warm bed.
She felt as if she wasn't the only one in the hallway, as if someone was looking at her. But that couldn't be right, everyone had class. She snapped her head around and thought she'd seen these blonde locks of hair and piercing blue eyes.
She thought she had seen him stand there in the middle of the hallway with the brightest smile on his face. And just like that. He was gone. As if he never were there.
Summer felt sad again. Lonely and broken. He used to make her feel so happy and complete. Now she had no one who made her feel complete, because she was sure that the boy with curly chestnut brown hair didn't even know she existed. And that made her heart break just a little bit more.

I know this chapter can be a bit confusing, but don't worry you'll understand later. :)
