Chapter Twenty Seven: Reflection.
Summer and Winter had exchanged phone numbers that day. It made both of them feel giddy all over. It was late afternoon, the sun was going down behind the horizon. Summer was sitting at the harbor. The sun reflected in the water so simply that Summer couldn't help but smile. She jumped in surprise when she abruptly received a message on her phone.
That's weird, usually no one texts me. She thought curiously to herself. Pulling her phone out, she entered her password and opened messenger. Her heart melted a tiny bit when she saw that it was Winter who had texted her. He probably thought she'd given him a fake number.
And so she texted him back.
