So there is also some intense topics of discussion in this chapter. Nothing too bad but just a heads up.

"What the hell is going on?" I ask Josh after Rachel runs out of the room.

"It's best if you stay out of it," he says while trying to walk out the door.

"Well, I'm not going to stay out of it," I say stepping in front of him. "I care too much about Rachel to stay out of it," I cross my arms.

"You don't even know her," he spats.

"What's your damage? You haven't been the same since she got here," I say.

"It doesn't concern you," he says.

"Except it does," I say.

There's a knock on the door and I run over hoping it's Rachel. I swing open the door and am disappointed to see that it's Dan.

"We are starting to load up on the bus," he says.

"Okay," I say and he walks off. I close the door and turn back to Josh. "You have eleven hours to explain yourself," I say while starting to get my bags.

"Why can't you just stay out of this?" He rolls his eyes.

"That's not how I roll," I shrug while walking out the door.

Honestly, what is his deal? I mean why is it such a big deal if I like Rachel, it's not like they're a thing.

I really need to know what's going on with her though. I didn't think it was possible for her to be so upset. She just seemed to always be happy and smiley. Maybe Josh is right, maybe I don't really know her. Though I know this doesn't change how I feel or what I think about her. I just want to make sure she's okay and maybe I could help her with what she's going through if I knew what was going on.

I meet up with some of the guys in the lobby and walk out the back of the hotel and over to the bus with them.

"I can't believe that we are going to spend the next eleven hours on a bus," Zach groans.

"Yeah, just don't miss it again, I don't feel like being on the bus for an extra hour," Nico says.

"Nico, be nice," Chaz cuts in.

You go Chaz.

"Yeah," Zach adds.

"Will you all be quiet I just want to sleep," Ben whines.

The door opens and Jacob sticks his head out. "You guys better get on we are about to leave," he says then disappears back onto the bus.

I walk on and my eyes immediately spot Rachel sitting in the back with her ear buds in, looking out the window. The further I go back the more nervous I become.

What should I say to her? Should I even sit with her? Or should I just leave her alone and let her come to me?

I'll just sit with her and watch what happens.

When I sit down she flinches a little bit then relaxes. She looks over at me and gives me a small smile, but I can tell she's still upset. I take her hand and give it a small squeeze and she just smiles and turns back to the window, keeping a hold of my hand.

Once Jeff Calhoun checks to make sure everyone is here, so we don't have a repeat of the whole Zachary being left at a rest stop incident, we're off. It isn't even ten minutes into the drive and pretty much everyone is passed out, except for me and I think Jeff Heimbrock because I can faintly hear the humming of showtunes.
