This is six hundred words less than what I try to make a chapter a minimum of but oh well it gets the point across.

"How could you tell her?" I scream at Josh while pinning him up against the wall.

"I didn't, I swear on my life I didn't," he quickly says lifting his hands up.

"Yeah, then who did?" I yell, blood boiling.

"I don't know," he says. "Nobody else knew about it."

"I'm going to talk to her," I say walking away from Josh.

"She's not going to talk to you," Josh yells as I leave.

"We'll see about that."

I grab the key I have to Rachel's room and walk out into the hall, not caring that I'm still drenched in coffee. Dan walks out of his room the second I walk past it and he takes one look at me and his eyes go wide.

"I see you talked to Rachel," he says with a hint of laughter.

"Yeah, she was mad about-" I stop mid-sentence. How would he know Rachel would do this? "How'd you know Rachel did this?" I ask suspiciously.

"Because I'm the one who took her to get coffee," he says.

He's the one who told her, he has to be.

"Are you the one who told her?" I ask getting even angrier.

His eyes go wide and his face goes pale. "What? I didn't tell her anything," he tries to play it off.

"How'd you know about it?" I ask and he better answer truthfully because I'm not joking around about this.

He crosses his arms, "I over heard you and Josh coming up with it."

"After I found out she really was the girl Josh was talking about I thought you just broke up with her to go along with the plan," he shrugs. "She deserves to know."

If I were in a good mindset I would have control over my impulse to punch him in the face. Unfortunately enough for him, I am not in a good mindset causing me to clock him right on his cheek, sending him to stumbling back.

"I actually loved her and now she thinks it was all a lie," I say, fury running through my veins. "When I first met her I didn't know she was the one Josh was talking about and when I found out she was the one that I was suppose to hurt it broke me." I say as he stands up gripping his jaw. "I decided not to go through with the plan."

"Then why'd you break up with her? It couldn't really have been about the dinner," he says.

"I couldn't let it get any deeper." I quietly say.

"What do you mean?"

"I couldn't let her fall for me anymore so I had to break up with her, which killed me."

"Why couldn't you let her fall for you anymore?" He asks confused.

I take a deep breath, no one knows this and preferably anyone but Dan should be the first person I tell. Considering he likes Rachel, and told her about the plan. "I'm leaving tour," I quietly say.

His eyes go wide, "What?"

"My knee has been getting worse and now I need surgery," I shrug. "It could either take a couple of months, maybe years, to get back to where I am now, or I could never dance again," I say.

I try not to break down at this point. I lost Rachel, who I love, and I may never be able to dance, which I love, again. It breaks me to think that this is what my life has come to. If I can never dance again on top of losing Rachel, I'll have nothing in my life worth caring about. Maybe for some magical reason Rachel forgives me, which she probably never will.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," he says trying to be sympathetic. "I should've of told Rachel."

"You're damn right you shouldn't have," I snap. "It wasn't your place to tell."

"I know," he says. "I just couldn't keep it from her."

"Whatever, I have to go talk to her," I quickly say and walk off towards her room.

Even though I have a key I still knock. When she doesn't answer I knock again. She still doesn't answer. Maybe she isn't here? Then again where else would she have gone? I use my key to open her door and step inside.

"Rachel?" I call out as I go to close the door accidentally keeping it ajar.

No, answer.

She has to be here.

I look around the room and she's no where to be seen. Then I see the light on in the bathroom.

"Rachel?" I ask again while knocking on the door.

Still no answer.

I knock again, this time with a little more force, "Rachel?" I go to open the door but it's locked, which means she's in there, which makes me even more panicked.

Why wouldn't she answer me, even to just tell me to go away?

"Rachel open up," I say while rapidly knocking.

I keep jiggling the door knob in hopes it will open but it doesn't. Looking at the knob I can see that I can easily pick the lock if I can find a paper clip or something. I start to scour the room in pursuit of anything that I could pick a lock with. As soon as I think all hope is lost I spot a bobby pin on the ground. That could work, right?

I pick up the bobby pin and walk back over to the bathroom. After quickly picking the lock I slowly open the door and gasp at what I see.

Rachel, lying on the ground motionless. I rush to her side and pull her into my arms, if I were an idiot in a movie or book I would try to shake her as if she were sleeping but I know she isn't. I call Josh and tell him to come to Rachel's room, I hang up before he says anything. I go to feel her pulse, it's slow but there, barely.

I just hold her and cry. I have no idea what happened and there is an endless amount of possibilities.

"Sky, what's wrong?" I hear Josh ask. He walks over to where we are, "What happened?"

"I don't know, but call 911," I quickly say crying harder than I ever have.

She's barely breathing, she honestly looks dead. The last thing I want is for her to die, especially without knowing the truth. I just want to tell her I love her.

My prayers are answered because her eyes crack open, not that I deserve any good karma at this point.

"Sky?" Her voice is small. "Sky I-"

"Shhh, don't say anything," I shush her, not wanting her to waste her breath. "I love you," I say.

"You mean it?" She asks barely audible.

"Yes," I say tears continuing to run down my cheeks.

"I-" and the she's out again and my heart shatters.

I may never know what she was about to say.

"An ambulance is on there way," Josh says. "They said it'd be best to get her down to the lobby."

I try to compose myself. "Okay," I choke out.

"I also called Jeff and he's on his way from the theatre."

"Okay," I feel like that's all I'm able to say.

I scoop her up in my arms and start to stand up. Josh gives me a look as to ask if I need help and I just shake my head. If she dies before an ambulance gets here I would want her to be in my arms and not his. Call me selfish, I don't care.

I look down at her, still motionless, breaths farther apart.

"Please, stay alive," I whisper.
