Chapter Fifteen

Sorry about my small hiatus, but school is starting so updates may be slower.

I wouldn't exactly say my life is good, and I also wouldn't say my life is terrible. I guess it would be somewhere in the middle. I have good days, then I have bad days. Today could go either way.

It's been a week and a half here in Chicago, so it's been a week and a half since the incident. I still have nightmares, not as often though. Sky has helped me a lot, and we have decided that we are going to tell the cast soon that we're dating. Mainly because the cast starting a hashtag saying we should date, #MakeSkychelAThing or something like that. Apparently, Skychel is now our ship name, I kind of like it to be honest.

Today is going to rough though, my sibling got taken into a foster home last week and I am going to visit them today since it is our day off. I really hope it is a good home, I hope they will be taken care of. Who knows maybe if they're lucky it can become a permanent thing. Though no matter how they act the chances of getting adopted is slim, especially since by law I made it so they can't be separated. There just aren't a lot of people out there who are willing to adopt four kids, especially when they aren't little kids.

I also got news from Jonathan Spencer about our mom. At the moment she is at a women's jail outside of the city and is awaiting trial, which won't be until late February at the earliest. Of course my siblings and I will have to meet with a lawyer, so they will probably go to my siblings and I will connect to the meetings through video chat or something like that.

I take one last look in the mirror, I made sure to dress nicely. First impressions can be tough. I'm wearing an emerald green, lace dress with a white cardigan, and brown knee high boots. I curled my hair and pushed it back ever so slightly with a thin black headband. I am not wearing too much makeup, I went for a more natural look today.

There is a knock on the door, which must be Sky. I asked him to come with me because I am most likely going to need there to help me control myself and I would like him to meet my siblings. I grab my purse and throw my phone and room key inside, then walk over to the door. When I open the door I see Sky wearing khakis and a pale blue button up with the sleeves ruled up to his elbows, not going to lie I'm a sucker for guys who dress like this.

"Hey, Beautiful," he smiles at me and I blush. "Ready to go?" He asks.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I shrug.

"That'll have to do," he says while giving me a small smile.

He wraps an arm around my waist and we walk to the elevators. When we get there we have to wait a little bit before an elevator gets to our level. Though when one does Julian and Nico walk out.

"Whoa," Julian says, eyes switching from me to Sky.

Both of them look to see Sky's arm around my waist.

"Are you guys going on a date?" They both grin.

Sky and I just look at each other. I haven't told any of the other cast members about my situation. Well, except Sky, Ben, and Josh, but that's different they're my best friends.

"Yes," I say, not knowing what else to do. "We are," I smile.

"Called it," Nico says. "Dan owes me ten bucks," he laughs and Sky's grip around me tightens, weird.

"You were making bets on us?" I laugh.

"Yeah, I said you guys were totally into each other and Dan disagreed so we made a bet," Nico shrugs.
