+ Rachel +

I've only stayed in a hotel about three times in my life and this is no doubt the nicest of the three. The rooms are huge and the breakfast is amazing. Though what I really love is the indoor pool, which I plan spending most of my day by. Plus I like to read by the pool and I just got a good book, and also it will be nice to be at a pool with clean water, unlike the one in my neighborhood.

After I eat breakfast, which was actually more like lunch considering it is almost noon, I walk back up to my room and change into a bathing suit. It's an extra bikini Heather happened to have lying around. I put a tank top and shorts over it and walk out of my room.

Maybe I should ask Sky if he wants to come. Why not?

I walk down to Sky's room and knock on the door. Josh answers within seconds and I can't help but roll my eyes at the sight of him.

"What did I do now?" He asks.

"Nothing," I mumble. "Is Sky here?" I ask and his face falls.

"Yeah," he frowns. "Why?"

"Because I need to talk to him," I say rolling my eyes.

"About what?"

"About how if you don't stop being a pain in the-"

"Hey, Rachel," Sky cuts me off walking up to the door. "You needed to talk to me," he says.

"Yeah, I just wanted to know if you wanted to go down to the pool with me," I explain.

"Yeah, I'd love too," he smiles. "How about I meet you there," he adds.

"Okay," I smile, forgetting Josh is still standing in the doorway.

"Awesome," Sky says before disappearing back into the room.

I stand there smiling for a second then I see Josh and I frown.

"I thought we were going to try to be friends," he smirks.

"Yeah, until you decided to be a jerk," I remark.

"I wasn't being a jerk, I was being honest," he defends. "You are going to have to tell him," he says matter-of-factually.

"Except I won't," I say.

"What happened to honesty being the most important part of a relationship?" He raises an eyebrow.

"I'm not lying to him," I say. "I'm just... Not telling him everything..." I trail off. "Which is just as bad," I sigh. "But it's for the better," I finish then walk off.

I can't tell Sky now. Especially after I've convinced him multiple times that he has nothing to worry about. Telling him now would just make everything terrible and that is the last thing I want.

When I get down to the pool I grab some towels, find two pool chairs, and sit down. I take off my tank top and shorts and open up my book to start reading. I heard this book was really good, it's called The Fault in Our Stars. I know Cassie said it made her cry, both the book and the movie.

I'm about five pages deep when someone shouts Boo and shakes my shoulders causing me to jump and let out a tiny scream. I look over to see Sky laughing and I squint my eyes at him.

"Not cool," I huff.

"Wait are you just now reading The Fault in Our Stars?" He asks while sitting in the chair next to me.

"Yes," I say, closing the book.

"You're pretty late," he laughs. "Even I've read that book," he says.
