As we get closer and closer to intermission the more I start to freak out. I don't know what this means for Sky and I. I mean we can't date because we just met, but we can't be just friends because we just kissed. Throughout the whole first act he would smile at me every chance he gets and always winks at me when he's back stage.

Of course I've been playing it off cool but Jacob has already started Seize the Day so I am in full freak out mode.

I mean what am I going to say to Sky?

Yeah, I was totally fine with kissing you but I'm not going to date you because we just met and now we are going to spend the next year and a half practically living together.

I don't think that's what a guy wants to hear.

I mean I'm not saying I'd never date Sky, I'd date him if I knew more about him. Come on, Sky, couldn't you have waited at least two weeks before making a move. Is that too much to ask?

I snap out of my thoughts and look back at what part they're at. Jack just finished giving his speech to the Scabs, oh look it's Sky. He's so cute.

Stop thinking about him.

Though, honestly how could I possibly manage to do that?

"At the end of the day who are you going to trust?" Chaz asks. "Them?" he points to the newsboys. "Or them?" He throws his bag at Wiesel.

You go, Chaz.

The rest of the boys surround Sky and he looks around nervously.

"Ah, what the hell? My father's going to kill me anyways!" He says throwing down his papers and I can't help but laugh.

"Hey," I hear Stephanie say behind me.

I turn around to face her, "Hey."

"So, you and Sky then?" She wiggles her eyebrows.

"What?" I ask.

"I saw him kiss you. Are you guys a thing now?" She raises an eyebrow.

"No, it was just a kiss," I blush.

"In the words of Jack Kelly, don't act like it happens everyday!" She says and I laugh.

"I don't know if we can be a thing, I barely know him," I shrug.

"They say you can develop a crush within twenty-five minutes of meeting someone," she says.

"Is that true," I raise an eyebrow.

"I'm not sure," she admits. "But I know their is definitely something between you two."

"I don't know," I trail off.

"Could it have been love at first sight?" She gasps.

"To quote Jack Kelly yet again, love at first sight's for suckers," I say.

"Then, you and Sky are the biggest suckers I've ever met," she laughs.

"Shut up," I laugh. "I guess I'll just watch what happens between us," I shrug.

"Ha, Katherine reference."

"I didn't mean too, but yeah," I laugh.

"Well, I have to go the dance break is almost over," she says before walking off.

When the fight scene after Seize the Day ends Sky runs over to me.

"We need to talk," we both say at the same time and we end up laughing.
