(Y/N) had yet another sleepless night.
Her inability to sleep was most likely because she had slept the entire day. Her sleep schedule was now all over the place, and she would have to go to school soon. Sadly, the weekend wouldn't last forever.
Like the previous time she stayed there, Raphael was the first one to wake up. Everyone had fallen asleep watching Space Heroes. (Y/N), on the other hand, stayed up watching it all night.
"You didn't sleep again?" Raphael inquired as he stretched.
"Sorry. I just slept all day yesterday... and..." She trailed off, not really knowing how to progress with the sentence.
Raphael frowned a bit, but then shrugged. He sauntered off to the kitchen without another word.
Instead of following him, (Y/N) sat with her hands in her lap. She picked off the chipped (f/c) nail polish because she simply had nothing else to do.
She was sort of nervous. Now that Raphael was up, it most likely wouldn't be long until his brothers woke up either. What if she did something embarrassing or stupid? She didn't want to mess up this chance of making new friends. These were the only people who didn't know her.
It was a chance to start fresh. She could be anyone she wanted. Just not herself. If she was herself, then they may not like her. They'll hate her just like everyone else. She was scared that she wouldn't be good enough for them. That they wouldn't accept her.
Mikey stirred, rubbing his eyes sleepily. "I had the weirdest dream, guys. There was a cat and a giant-" He stopped to yawn. "A giant pig. It wasn't pretty."
(Y/N) smiled a little. She wasn't sure what could happen with a cat and a giant pig, but whatever it was, it had to be strange.
"Mikey! I'm hungry!" Raphael called from the kitchen.
Mikey groaned and waltzed into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes.
Raphael's yell for Mikey was loud enough to wake up Donnie and Leo. Leo asked (Y/N) if she wanted to join him and his brothers in the kitchen. She didn't want to be rude, so she followed him in.
Raphael was sitting at the island and reading a comic book while Mikey was sleepily making breakfast for the five of them. Donnie was still half asleep in his seat, and Leo was telling his brothers that they were going to have to do training later on that day.
A few minutes later, Mikey had served everyone their breakfast. Immediately, everyone dug in, but (Y/N) just stared at the food on her plate.
She wasn't hungry, but she didn't want to waste the food Mikey had worked hard to make. She took a few sips of her juice and took a bite or two of her eggs, but after that, she couldn't eat anything without getting a sick feeling in her stomach.
She stared longingly at the food sat in front of her, but she couldn't bring herself to eat it. Soon, she felt eyes on her. When she looked up, she saw Raphael staring at her.
Along with the others.
"Are you gonna eat that?" Mikey asked after a long pause.
(Y/N) reluctantly shook her head.
"So... Can I have it?"
His brothers groaned, and Raphael smacked him on the back of his head. (Y/N) slid the plate over to him, nonetheless.

"Hajime!"
Leo jumped towards Raphael, and the two began fighting one another. Every time Leo would swing his katana, Raphael would dodge or deflect it. And every time Raphael would jab his sai, Leo would quickly move out of the way.
(Y/N) watched in awe next to Donnie and Mikey. She was amazed by their techniques and skills. All of them were skilled fighters, and each of them had a different way of fighting. She enjoyed watching them train.
After a while of back and forth swinging and deflecting, Raphael seemed to get bored with it. He waited until one of Leo's katanas were over his shoulder and used his sai to lock the weapon in place. He easily threw Leo over his shoulder and onto the ground, leaving Leo on his back.
Raphael put his weapons in the holster around his waist. "I can't believe you fell for that. Again."
"In my defense, it shouldn't have worked." Leo protested as he got to his feet.
"Yeah, but it did." He walked over to Mikey and sat next to him, glancing at (Y/N) as he walked by.
She gave him a small smile, but he only looked away. Her smile faded as Leo sat next to her.
"Good job, today, my sons." Master Splinter said as he stepped closer to the group. "You have all improved greatly."
They all bowed their heads. "Thank you, Sensei."
(Y/N) wasn't sure what to do, so she just looked at Master Splinter, waiting to hear what he might say next. Maybe he'd say something about the Foot, or about (Y/N) getting home.
"But, Raphael, you shouldn't use the same technique each time you fight. Your moves will become predictable, and it will be easy for your opponents to defeat you that way."
"I know, Sensei. But, it's funny. He should know by now that I win every time he does that, but he still does it anyway. And it's funny to watch him fall."
"Gee, thanks." Leo said sarcastically.
"Neither of you should use the same method. Find another way."
"Hai, Sensei."
With that said, Splinter began walking away. When he was almost in the other room, he stopped. "And trying to impress another shouldn't be your main priority." The smile was evident in his voice. He walked into the other room with the smallest smile on his features.
"Impress someone?" Donnie questioned.
"Who knows?" Raphael stood, looking at (Y/N). "We have to get you home, now."
