Chapter Seven

When (Y/N) arrived back to the lair with Raphael, the turtles gave her a look of confusion. She didn't want to talk about what happened, so she glanced at Raphael with pleading eyes.

He seemed to understand. "(Y/N) didn't feel comfortable being home alone."

Donnie looked at her. "Did something happen? What's wrong?"

"I just..." (Y/N) looked down and over at Raphael's feet. "It was scary." She whispered.

Miley and Donnie exchanged looks while Leo glared at Raphael.

"What did you do?"

"I didn't do anything!" Raphael protested. "Her place was just trashed, okay?"

"What happened?"

Suddenly, all eyes were on (Y/N). She shifted uncomfortably and stepped a little closer to Raphael.

"Something was in my house." She muttered. "They were looking for me. But, Raphael saved me."

Mikey grinned. "Ohh~"

Donnie elbowed him.

"Who was looking for you?" Asked Leo.

"I don't know." (Y/N) felt tears coming to her eyes. "He was... He was tall. And scary and... I don't know, I just- I didn't know what to do-"

"Guys, she's shaken up." Raphael cut in. "Give her some space, okay?"

"We need to know what happened, Raph."

"Yeah, and she needs to breathe. Just give her a second. Let her calm down."

(Y/N) glanced at Raphael, trying not to cry. She took in a few deep breaths.

Everyone was staring at her as she tried to calm down. With all eyes on her, she felt uneasy, and it only made it harder to get ahold of herself.

"(Y/N), just try to breathe, okay?" Donnie put a hand on her shoulder.

(Y/N) pulled on the edge of her sleeves and looked up at Donnie shyly. "I'm okay. I'm sorry, I... I'm okay."

"Are you ready to tell us what happened?" Leo asked cautiously.

"Well, Raphael dropped me off at home. When I came in, the door to my apartment was opened. Everything inside was destroyed... Then I saw this really big... Thing." She looked down. "I don't know, I thought it was my step dad, but it wasn't. It tried to get me, a-and that's when I screamed." (Y/N) looked up at Raphael. "And then he came and saved me."

"What did it look like?"

"It looked sort of like a... A wolf?"

"Rahzar..." Mikey said.

"Who's that?" (Y/N) looked at Raphael.

"He works for Shredder." Answered Leo.

"W-who's that?"

"You know what? Don't worry about it." Said Raphael. "You're safe here, okay?"

"Yeah, don't worry, dudette! We'll protect you!" Mikey assured her.

(Y/N) hesitated a moment before speaking up. "What do I do?"

"What do you mean?" Donnie asked.

"Tomorrow. At school, what if they come for me?"

Everyone was quiet for a second while they tried to think up a plan. In the meantime, (Y/N) stared at her fingers.

"I know!" Donnie exclaimed.

Raphael turned to him. "What?"

"I think I know someone to help."
