I made more changes cause I realized I left out something really important, and I feel really stupid. Please don't hate me.

Raph didn't know what to say. He was astonished that (Y/N)'s mom didn't react in any way when seeing them. He had no clue how her mom knew Shredder.

Knowing only raised questions.

If she knew about Shredder, how much else did she know? If she knew about Shredder, why didn't she warn (Y/N)? Why hadn't she done anything to protect her? Why was she so careless?

Though he knew he had no right to blame her, Raphael directed all of his confusion and anger toward her. It took all the self control he had to not yell at her right then.

It was Leo who was calm enough to speak. "You know Shredder?" He questioned.

"Of course I know Shredder." She answered in a rush.

"What do you mean?" Raph demanded.

She didn't pay him any mind. "Where's my daughter?"

"Ma'am, calm down." Leo tried. "We're going to get her back."

"We're is she?" The woman demanded.

"We don't know." Donnie said. "We jus—"

"Have you looked for her? Have you seen her? When was the last time you saw her?"

"Yeah, we've looked for her." Raph said, his voice with a slight edge everyone except for (Y/N)'s mom seemed to pick up. "How long have you known Shredder?"

The woman stopped and looked at Raphael. She seemed to be offended that he'd even ask that at a time such as this. Raphael didn't care.

"Long enough to know what he's capable of." She answered.

"And you still left her alone?" Raphael shouted.

"Raph." Leo warned.

"You obviously knew he wanted her. Why would you just leave her here?"

"I didn't know he wanted her!" She shot back. "I knew he wanted me. I didn't think he'd ever hurt her. In fact, I was sure of it. I thought he would only target me, not (Y/N). I wouldn't have left her if I'd have known otherwise."

"Don't blame yourself." Donnie said. "We all knew about Shredder." He glanced at Raphael.

Raph's shoulders slumped and he uncrossed his folded arms. Donnie was right. It was as much his fault as t was everyone else's, if they could even be held accountable. He was just scared, as much as he hated to admit it. He cared about (Y/N) more than he ever thought, and it was all very strange for him.

"I still don't get it." Mikey said. "How do you even know Shredder?"

Her mother hesitated a moment. "Well, my line of work is sort of similar to yours, I guess." She said. "I go around the world, saving people. I get assigned jobs, I go in, get intel, get out. Every so often I get to go home."

"So you're a spy?!" Said Mikey. "That's so cool!"

"I got a job a while back about strange things happening here." She continued, not so much as acknowledging the fact that Mikey spoke. "There were people missing, strange occurrences. When I looked into it, there was a trail of breadcrumbs leading me right to Shredder. And right to you. I found out about the mutagen and about what it does to people. That's were the missing people were turning up and all of them were... Not so human anymore."

"Shredder somehow found out about me, so I left and brought my daughter with me. I met some useless guy who isn't good for anything except blowing money and married him because I thought he would keep my daughter safe." She rubbed the back of her neck.

"How could he protect her?" Raph asked, becoming more angry and tense as she explained.

"I needed someone to look after her and he was the first guy I could get." She sighed. "Please, I just want my little girl."

At that moment, Raph's phone rang. He reached for it quickly, and all he had to see was the first letter of (Y/N)'s name before he quickly answered it.

"(Y/N)?" He said hurriedly. "Are you okay?"

When he didn't get an answer, his heart stopped. Had something happened?

"(Y/N)?" He questioned again, feeling himself begin to panic more.

Just when he was about to offer Donnie the phone so he could find her location, her soft, quiet voice came from the other end. "I'm okay." (Y/N) said.

Raph sighed in relief, feeling a huge weight being lifted off his shoulders. "Where are you?"

"I don't know. I just woke up in a cage."

"What did they do to you?" Raph demanded. "Did they hurt y—"

Before he could even finish his sentence, he heard her scream. He pulled the phone away from his ear for a brief second, before quickly putting it back.

"(Y/N)! Are you okay? What's going on?" He questioned.

Raph's heart sunk when he didn't get an answer. Everyone was staring at him with wide eyes, wondering what was happening on the other end. All they heard was her scream.

"Please, (Y/N). Can you hear me?"

His only response was the dial tone. Raph yelled in frustration and threw the phone down. "They've got her!" He yelled. "We have to find her, now! Before they do anything to hurt her!"

"Do you know anything about Shredder?" Donnie asked (Y/N)'s mom quickly. "Like, where he is, or his latest location?"

Raph's head snapped up and he looked at the woman. He needed to know where (Y/N) was. He needed to find her and save her.

"Last time I checked, he was in a sort of factory, but that was a few weeks ago. He could've moved by now."

"That's our best bet." Leo said.

"Where's the factory?" Raph asked quickly.

She looked at him. "I'll show you."
