It's been too long and this is super short... Sorry
---
Raph was exhausted. With all the excitement of the day, and his endless worrying about (Y/N), he felt like he could sleep for ten years. He'd done everything he needed to do and finished just after money passed out on the couch. Raphael wasn't really that upset about it. He preferred his bed anyway...

But just as he was settling in to rest, just as he closed his eyes and had the blanket over him, his phone rang. Raph was tempted to just let it ring out. If April or Casey really needed help, they'd call Donnie or Leo. But there was something in the pit of his stomach telling him to at least glance at the screen. So, he did.

It was April.

And if it weren't for that feeling in the pit of his stomach, he wouldn't have answered it. But he did.

"Hello?"

"Raph?"

Raphael froze. It wasn't April on the other line, but rather, a more delicate quieter voice. He sat up quickly. "(Y/N)? Why do you have April's phone?"

"Well she... She said you gave her my address so she could drop by. W-when she came, she gave me this so I could keep in touch with you guys. A-and, I don't know, I'm sorry if I bothered you."

It was the most Raph ever heard her say, but that wasn't what he was focusing on. It would take an idiot to not realise that (Y/N) was in tears. She kept sniffing, and her voice was wobbly. There was something else, but Raph didn't quite understand. He could just tell. He didn't know how, he just could.

"Why are you crying?" He asked, without fully thinking it through.

There was a very long, almost unsettling pause until (Y/N) finally sniffed. "I know it's late, but could you maybe come here, please?"

Though completely exhausted, Raph found himself answering with an immediate, "Yeah." He figured some part of him must know what he was doing and went along with it. He dismissed (Y/N)'s "Are you sure?"s and said a quick goodbye before hanging up.

As soon as Raph stepped outside his door, he was met with Leo.

"Where are you going?"

"What makes you think I'm going anywhere?" Raph said defensively. "Maybe I just need to... Use the bathroom."

Leo sighed. "Listen, I might not completely get it, but I know you like her."

"What? What're you talking about?"

"I realised today. Just the way you... You've never been this nice towards anyone."

Raph looked the other way, his cheeks red.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?" Asked Raph.

"I... Didn't have to be so... The way I was being."

"Well," Said Raph hurriedly. "Apology accepted. Now, I have to go."

"You still haven't told me w—"

But Raph was already gone.
