Atelophobia [Raphael x Reader]

Chapter Eight

Raph liked the idea of having someone watch over (Y/N) for the day, but he wasn't too sure if she was so keen on it. She seemed uncomfortable when Donnie suggested April watch after her.

Apparently, she didn't want to hassle April. He and his brothers had to do a lot of assuring to get her to reluctantly agree to it.

April, on the other hand, agreed immediately. She knew (Y/N) from a few of her classes, so it wouldn't be hard to keep an eye on her. At least, that's what she said.

Raph couldn't help but feel a little uneasy about it all. He knew, now, how serious it was if The Foot and Rahzar was after her. Shredder really wanted her for some reason, and keeping her under April's watch... It just didn't feel right.

It wasn't that he didn't trust April. And he knew she could handle herself, she was a kunoichi, after all. There was just something bothering him about it all.

"Pizza's here!" Mikey screamed.

Everyone dug in. Even (Y/N) ate a slice. She was sort of talkative that night. She seemed more comfortable with them now. Raph was glad that she was finally opening up.

He and his three brothers agreed not to talk about Shredder or the Kraang while (Y/N) was around. Raphael didn't want to freak her out anymore than what she already was, and neither did anyone else.

She was distracted, but she seemed okay. He just worried that if they freaked her out any more by mentioning the Kraang, then she'd definitely stay away from them.

And Raph really didn't want that.

Everyone had fun that night. Raph didn't even complain when everyone settled down to watch Space Heroes.

(Y/N) sat on the floor next to Mikey. Both of them were as into it as Leo was.

Raph couldn't help but smile at how interested (Y/N) was in it. She never took her eyes off of the screen, even when Mikey started with his loud snoring.

Eventually, she fell asleep, though.

And, soon enough, so did Raph.
