Ch. 9 Skype

Chapter 9

I decided not to tell my mom about the whole thing. I knew that she would freak out or just not believe me. It was after dinner and I went back up to my room. I was so glad tomorrow was Friday. I think I need to change my weekend plans because of the extraordinary events that occurred today. I went into my room and closed the door. I sat at my desk and opened my laptop. I logged in and was startled at what was in front of me. My screensaver was changed to all the boys sticking their tongues out at me and with crazy looks on their faces. I covered my mouth to try and contain my laughter. I heard Skype load so I clicked on it to see who was on. The familiar people, my cousins in Texas, a friend who moved, and Liam Payne.

WHOA. WHAT?!

I read it again and saw Liam's Skype stored into my contacts. I also noticed 4 other new contacts on the offline list. I looked at the list and saw Nat and Nick were online so I clicked on Nat's username and began the call. She answered.

"OMG Em! Where have you been!? I texted you but you didn't answer!" She said yelling. 

"I'm sorry! Everyone came back to my house and stayed over until my mom got home!" 

"Did you tell her? What happened with your sister? Are you and Niall together yet? Did they see your room?" She kept asking. 

"Um. No, she met Harry, no sadly, and yes." I answered quickly. 

"Girl, you are so lucky! Tomorrow you need to have a party with them. And they can sing. And I can chill with them. Invite Nick and... Everyone!" She said throwing her hands up.

"Ok. Ok!" I said trying to calm her. 

"I'll tell my parents your parents want to go out with them. You do the same. That should give us a couple hours at least." She whispered while writing it down. 

"Ok. I'll text the guys and see if they want to come." I said so normally that it felt like it was a regular thing. Once I realized what I said, I looked up to see Nat close up to the screen with her eyes open. I jumped back and smiled.

"You. Have. Their. Numbers."  

"Yes..." I smiled nervously. 

"I hate you. I can't even speak to you anymore!" She said while fake crying. 

"It's ok. You want me to add Nick to the call?" I asked.  

"I guess. He won't understand our excitement." She said crossing her arms. 

"We will make him." I smiled. 

I clicked Nick's name...Nickster69. Of course. On the first ring he picked up. 

"Hey ladies!" He yelled. 

"Nick, we are having a party tomorrow." I said. 

"Yeah right. You two? Throwing a party?" 

"Yes exactly." Nat said uncrossing her arms. 

"I can't wait to see this. How were the guys?" Nick asked. 

"Fine. What do you have a crush on Zayn or something?" Nat and I both laughed. 

"No! Jeez we are just bros." he said into the camera. 

"Is that a Zayn poster I see behind you?" I asked pointing. 

"Why yes it is!" Nat joined in. 

"No!" He yelled and looked behind him. He got up and went over to his wall and put his arms up. 

"SEXY POSE!" Nat yelled. 

"Shut up." Nick said back. 

"Oh Nicholas! Did you get your underwear from the dryer?!" I heard his mom yell.
