I'm Scared (Ross, Ryland, and Riker Lynch)

A/n Fun fact I wrote this on an airplane. Also I feel the anxiety that Dean Winchester feels on planes, I really hate flying.

Prompt: Can you do an R5 oneshot where Ross, riker and Ryland have to go to the dentist and they're being wimps about it but riker mans up so he can comfort his younger brothers olease

Riker, Ross, and Ryland all disliked the dentist, of course if you were to ask them they would completely deny it, but their entire family and Ellington knew that they have always been terrified to get into the chair. Because the three were scared, they would leave their appointments off until the very last minute causing them to have their appointments during the tour when their parents weren't with them. (a/n at this point the plane took off and I started freaking out btw) Riker being the oldest, was in charge of making sure the he and the boys actually made it to their appointments and Rocky was in charge of calling the dentist office to make sure that Ticket didn't chicken out on his appointment.

When the boys were called back it was clear they were nervous, Ross was biting his nails, Ryland couldn't stop fidgeting, and Riker seemed to be texting his parents, but in reality he was tapping his thumbs on the blank screen of his off phone.

"Riker, I don't like this" Ross admitted, his younger brother quickly agreeing.

Riker agreed as well, but in his head, he let the anxiety bubble in his stomach, he had half a mind to abandon his brothers, but as soon as he looked up and took in the boys body language he quickly changed his mind. Ryland was practically in Ross's lap hiding his face in his neck, both were trembling in fear, but Ross was pretending to be brave for his little brother's sake. Riker's heart practically broke at Ross's actions, he was so engaged with his own fear that he didn't even notice how scared his little brothers were. He was supposed to comfort and protect them when anything went wrong. He stood up from his seat and sat down next to Ross, he then quickly picked him up and place him in his lap. Ross shifted his body so he could hide his face in his oldest brother's neck.

"It's okay" Riker cooed to his baby brothers and himself.

"No I'm scared" Ryland mumbled into his chest, Ross nodding in agreement.

"It's okay to be scared" Riker stated, "How about I go first and you guys watch, they'll do exactly the same things they do to me as they'd do to you" he then suggested knowing that he would be comforted by his brothers presence and they would want to know what was going on. They both just nodded in agreement.

To the three boys surprise, the dentist wasn't that bad, of course Ross and Ryland wouldn't let go of Riker's hand the entire time, and eventually the three boys completely lost their fear of the dentist, although the two youngest still acted scared so they can hold their older brother's hand
