Your Feelings Aren't Stupid (Jai Brooks)

Happy birthday anon! Also for once this isn't late so I'm gonna give myself a round of applause. I swear I'm trying my best to catch up with the prompts and stick on schedule, but school is hard. I love you if you still read these, enjoy the one shot that I actually wrote on time.

Prompt: i know you have a really busy schedule, but my birthday is on october 28th, so can you please try to fit in a janoskians one shot where the boys have been leaving jai out and he gets really upset and has a panic attack bc he thinks the boys hate him, but the boys find out and comfort him. lots of brotherly fluff? :) love your work btw

"Can someone help me, please" Jai said bouncing down the stairs towards the boys.

He was met with the silence that he was starting to get used to. Jai sighed and walked to the kitchen. He didn't know what he had done wrong, all the boys and his brothers had just been ignoring him for the past three days and they even shot a video without him, it made him feel unwanted, unloved.

Jai opened the YouTube app on his phone clicked onto the Janoskians channel, he watched some of the q&a's from Australia and found himself tearing up from how much times had changed from then and how neither their physical appearances and relationships were the same.

Upset, Jai exited the app and opened twitter hoping that it would help take his mind off things. Jai scrolled through twitter seeing some fans were with the other boys in town, he saw that #wheresjai was trending and he groaned before tweeting

@jaibrooks1: Yeah were is Jai ? oh ! that's right you left him alone again : / #wheresjai

He then set his phone down lightly before looking at it and hurling it at the refrigerator watching it shatter to the ground. Jai backed into the wall and let himself slide down it. He brought his knees to his chest and set his face in them.

"Shit guys we need to go" Beau hopped up after checking his phone. He hurried to the car, as James and Luke quickly apologized to the fans they were talking to.

"What's wrong" Luke and James jogged to keep catch up to older boys.

Beau huffed tossing his phone to them. "Oh" was Luke's only reaction before pocketing his older brothers phone making a mental note to text Jai from both phones when he was in the car.

"Jai?" Skip moved into the kitchen, and he froze seeing his friend in the middle of a panic attack, "Guys I found him"

He heard loud footfalls then saw the boys pass him before he unfroze and moved towards the group.

"Calm down, bud," James nudged Jai's shoulder trying to get him to look up from his knees

"C-can't" Jai gasped, hyperventilating almost to the point of not getting a breath.

"Why can't you calm down," Skip asked standing a foot behind where James was knelling, so Jai wouldn't feel claustrophobic if he were to look up.

"Boys- boys d-don't like me, hate me" Jai sobbed gripping his knees tighter and rocking back.

Beau moved James and Daniel back a few feet while Luke knelt in front of his twin. He took his younger brother's hand and put it on his heart.

"Feel that," Luke said making Jai look up, "That's your heart" He moved Jai's hand so it was resting on Luke chest. "This is mine what do the heartbeats mean, bud?"

"This is real life" Jai sniffled, thinking back to the times that Luke had constant panic attacks and how Jai used that tactic to calm him down.

"Okay we know that it is real life so we know we aren't dreaming, but I don't know what's wrong, please tell us" Jai shook is head. "Tell me and Beau?"

Jai gave a slight jerk of his head that signaled Skip and James out of the kitchen and to their own rooms.

"So the weather" Jai said attempting to change the subject but dropped the act as soon as Beau gave him a raised eyebrow. "Fine, I felt left out it's stupid."

"Jai" Beau started, "Your feelings aren't stupid their important."

"Especially if they give you panic attacks" Luke whispered under his breath so he was the only one to hear it before raising his voice slightly, "Why didn't you tell us?"

"I don't know" Jai paused, "I didn't think anyone would listen"

"I always listen to you" Luke said pulling Jai into a hug, "You just need to make an effort to talk, okay"

Jai nodded and made grabby hands toward Beau telling him to join the hug. As soon as Beau leaned towards them Luke yelled for the other two boys to join their cuddle.
