Sick Twins (Luke and Jai Brooks)

Prompt: Hey. I loved first oneshot. It was really cute. You're a really good writer. Can you please do a janoskians oneshot where jai and luke both get sick and beau looks after them. Xx

If you couldn't tell by their appearance, Luke and Jai were twins. They shared everything, family, friends, a youtube channel and even though it was impossible it seemed like they shared an immune system.

Beau knew that his younger brothers were sick, he could hear there coughs and sneezes from the next room over. So he wasn't surprised when he got a call from school saying that he needed to pick up Jai; Beau was now the first person listed in the twins emergency contacts, since he turned 18 and him mom was always at work.

When Beau got to the school he went strait to the nurse, who recognized him as a past student. She led him to Jai, who was lying on a cot in the corner of the room behind a thin separation curtain. Beau thought that Jai looked adorable, he was lying on his side with his cheek pressed against a paper covered pillow. Beau sat on the edge of the cot, then pulled off his jacket placing it over his little brother. Standing up Beau walked back to the nurse to tell her to pull Luke out off class as well, knowing that if he didn't he would have had to drive back to school after bring Jai home. The nurse complied knowing from prior experience that if one Brooks twin was sick, so was the other.

Luke's uniform was messy at the least. His shirt was have tucked in, while his tie was simply thrown around his neck. Seeing his uniform and lazy stature, Beau walked up to him and Luke hugged him tight digging his face into his big brother's neck.

"Can you get to the car? Jai's sleeping I need to pick him up." Luke nodded, and started walking to the car. Beau then walked back to Jai and carried him towards the car, smiling when the paper for the pillow stuck to his face. He quickly took a picture and posted it on twitter before peeling it off of Jai's face and throwing it in the bin. Beau stumbled to the car park, gently throwing Jai into the backseat before hopping into the driver's seat next to Luke, who had fallen asleep as well. He drove home knowing that it was going to be a long night.

Beau woke the twins up when the got home, and they trudged to his room, and sat on the floor. When the twins got sick, they got into a routine. They would sleep in Beau's bed while Beau slept on the floor in case they needed anything. Beau grabbed the pillows and blankets from the twins' room and quickly set them up on the bed, then setting one up on the floor. As soon as the blankets were on the bed Luke and Jai climbed in going towards each other for warmth rather then the blankets. Beau grabbed the bins from the bathroom as well and set them on either side of the bed knowing that at least once during the night one of the twins wouldn't make it to the bathroom.

"Beau" Jai cried, ran towards the bathroom. Beau sighed but follow closely behind him. Jai was hunched over the toilet gagging, stomach acid and bile came up burning his throat, "It burns"

"I know baby" Beau mumbled rubbing his back, he knew that Jai hated being called that, but when he was sick, he became really small and vulnerable. Jai whimpered as his hair feel over his eyes, but he didn't attempt to move it away, so Beau brought his hand to Jai's sweaty forehead and moved the hair away from his face. "You're burning up kid, we gotta get that fever down"

Beau knew that Jai might have felt awkward about it but he pulled off Jai's sweaty pullover and put it on the ground next to them. Jai flinched at the sudden change of temperature and started whining, and squirming to get his sweater back, "N-nooooo, Be-beau. It's cold" "No babes" Beau cooed, as he pulled Jai into himself. He picked him up and walked towards back towards his room and putting him back on the bed, making sure that he couldn't get to the blankets. Beau the turned to the wall an fiddled with the a/c dial turning it so it would blow cool air.

Throughout the night, Beau was woken up several times by Jai being sick, while Luke seemed to be sleeping like a rock. At 3am Beau was awoken by moaning and quiet ruffling, he started walking to the bathroom, thinking that it was Jai attempting to get sick again, but stopped when he heard Luke whimper."D-dad, where are you going," Beau spun around in shock, "Please please don't leave"

Rushing to his side Beau tried to shake Luke awake, "Lukey, bud please wake up" He was scared, Beau had never seen Luke in such a delusional state, "Oh your gonna hate me for this," Beau mumbled after he took and saw Luke's temperature. Beau picked Luke up and hauled him to the bathroom, dumping him in the bathtub and turning on the icy water. Luke gasped, jolting up as Beau put his hand on top of his forehead to keep it from hitting the tap. He winced when the back of his hand hit the metal tap making a shallow cut, but ignored it grabbing the back of Luke's neck so his head wouldn't go back under water.

"Whaaa" Luke trailed off looking at Beau, he head was tilted slightly and his eyes were wide.

"Sorry Lukey your temperature was a 40C, it was the only way to get it down" Beau explained.

Not having enough energy to try to get out of the tub, Luke rolled onto his stomach and rest his head on the side of the tub. Beau ran his hand through Luke's hair as he sat on the toilet, he was stressed because he knew if Luke's fever didn't go down, that he'd have to take him to the hospital.

"Beau" Jai whispers, as he looked in from the doorway, "Is Luke okay"

"Yeah baby" Beau lied standing up, "Did you throw up again?" he stood up and walked to Jai.

"No" Luke stated, "I just wanna help" He motioned to Luke and held up a towel.

Beau lifted Luke up from the tub and pulled off his wet clothes, while Jai wrapped him in a towel. Jai lead Luke to the living room then he turned the tv on to a random channel, while Beau drained the over before walking over to the twins and plopping down between them and cuddling them close.
