Just a Nightmare (Luke Brooks)

Prompt: Hii I really loved your janoskians one shot! Can you write one about luke having recurring nightmares and the boys are mad at him bc he's always tired but after a particularly bad one (he starts screaming) beau and jai comfort him??

"Luke, what's wrong" Jai asked his twin brother, who was sitting at the table with his head in his arms.

"Nothing" Luke replied, slightly annoyed that he had been asked that by all the boys already asked him that today. Luke looked up to Jai, he had dark bags under his eyes, luckily none of the boys could notice them. Luke honesty hadn't slept in a while, well he had just not well. His usually happy dreams had been replaced by nightmare, and when he woke up from them he refused to go back to sleep, which constantly made him tired. 

"LUKE" Beau screamed, jerking his little brother out of his confused state.

Luke looked up to see his angry friends, and he brought his knees to his chest feeling uncomfortable under the stares of them. He bit his lip, he was sitting on the living room couch and all the other guys were standing, towering over him. He shifted and stayed quiet.

"We've worked so hard on this ep and you just fucked up the interviews to promote it" James said crossing his arms.

Skip nodded and added, "We agreed that we were going to be professional for these interviews. You were acting like a toddler the entire time"

Luke's eyes started to water. He really didn't mean to disappoint the boys he was just tired and stressed out from the lack of sleep.

"Are you really going to cry, pathetic"

Luke looked up in sudden surprise, it was Jai who said that. His twin brother who he supported in everything. The one who would cuddle with him when he was sick and help him with all of his problems thought that he was pathetic.

Jai was leaning against a wall and Luke held eye contact with him for a second before he bolted to his room and and slammed the door behind him making sure to lock it.

Luke's lip wobbled, "Don't cry, don't cry" he repeated to himself over and over again while pacing his room. "Don't be a baby, you're okay."

He walked flopped down in his bed and threw the cover over his face, and that was the position he fell asleep in 5 minutes later.

"GET AWAY FROM ME" Beau looked to Jai and the both immediately knew it was Luke. Nobody else was home since James and Skip had gone to a party.

Jai got up from where he was sitting, "I'm going to check on him"

Jai twisted the door knob, and groaned when he found it to be locked. He was going to walk away when he heard the continual screams of his twin.

"Okay" Beau said jogging towards Jai, "What's going on?"

"It's locked" Jai fumbled with the door before kicking it in frustration.

"Calm down" Beau said walking to a cabinet and pulling out a key and sticking it in the hole.

Luke was tangled in his comforter thrashing around his bed. Luke yelled something that fell deaf to the brothers as they ran towards him. 

"Lukey can you wake up for me" Beau asked lightly shaking his shoulder. 

Jai climbed into Luke's bed and hugged him from behind. Luke woke suddenly and grabbed Jai close to him. 

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Luke cried , "I love you so much"

"What's wrong babe" Beau knelled down next to the bed and moved the hair out of Luke's face. 

"Nothing, just a nightmare" Luke mumbled rolling so his face was in Jai's shoulder. 

Beau rolled his eyes and lifted the blanket up slide underneath it as Jai pulled away from Luke letting Beau go between them. "I think I know what's wrong" Beau made eye contact with Jai and mouthed now.

Beau and Jai started pinching Luke's sides causing him to squirm. 

"Stop" Luke giggled trying to get away from his brothers with out falling out of bed. "I feel better now.
