It was Halloween in Brisbane, and everyone around town was enjoying a night of dressing up in costumes, trick-or-treating, collecting and eating candy, and playing silly pranks on one another. But one person in particular was having the time of her life. It was a witch who is an elderly pug with big glasses and a witch outfit. The witch, The Old Pug, was riding on top of her magic broomstick, and they playfully scared away some bats from a clock tower by making silly faces and ringing the big bell. The broom may not have been able to speak like real humans or anthro animals, but he understood The Old Pug as he made happy, high-pitched noises. The Old Pug and her broom then saw a bin chicken who is digging in a rubbish bin. The Old Pug and her broom sneakily crept up upon a bin chicken and then The Old Pug touched the bin chicken's feathers lightly, making the bird turn around.

"BOO!" The Old Pug said as she made a scary face at the bin chicken, knocking over the rubbish bin and scaring it away.

The Broom did some high-pitched giggles before he and The Old Pug moved on. Just then, a lit Jack-o-lantern turned and looked at The Old Pug with its glowing eyes. That scared the witch and her broomstick away. As The Old Pug and her broom hid behind a trash can, they saw the Jack-o-lantern move, but it was not living as it rested on top of the head of a trick-or-treater! A lion like creature Yarnaby has the Jack-o-lantern on top of his head and is dressed up as a ghost.

"What the heck was that?" The Old Pug whispered to her broom.

A group of trick-or-treaters, The Smiling Dogs, Lucky who is dressed up as a superhero, Muffin who is dressed up in her Arabian Nights outfit, Bluey who is dressed up as a pumpkin, Bingo who is dressed up as cat, Lila who is dressed up as a flower, Mackenzie who is dressed up as a vampire, Chloe who is dressed up as Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony Equestria Girls, Honey along with Socks who are dressed up as a kangaroo and joey. And the Nightmare Critters, Baba Chops who is dressed up as Wednesday Addams, Icky Licky who is dressed up as a police officer, Rabie Baby who is dressed up as Hannah Montana, Allister Gator who is dressed up as a jungle explorer, Simon Smoke who is dressed up as a devil, Poe who is dressed up as the grim reaper, Touille who is dressed up as a chef, Maggie Mako who is dressed up as a m&m ice cream sandwich and Antoinette is dressed up in her Princess of Plenty get up.

They sang a happy tune and made their way to a house.

"Oh boy!" Touille said with excitement. "Barb's house! I wonder if we'll get any good candy?"

"I sure hope so! I'm down for full sized candy bars!" added Maggie Mako.

"Ooh me too." Chloe agreed.

"I won't get your hopes up too high. This is Barb's house and who knows what she did to everyone else who are like us that already trick or treated there." Honey warned.
